Hmm dieting doesn't slow down your Metabolism unless it's a DO NOT EAT Diet basically if you don't eat your Metabolism slows down, so it can make use of what energy is has, more slowly. Then when you do eat, it's still slow, and stays in your body longer thus adds to your fat levels, depending on what you hate. Also, if you want to gain wait then go to the gym and exercise for hours everyday then afterwards, eat healthy, or whatnot (can't remember what to eat) and voila you'll add to muscle mass THUS gaining weight enough of Kale and Mooch's health class |

what typhoon said is what i meant by dieting slows down your metabolism. when people say diet, they usually mean stop eatting or stop eatting as much which is bad. also, i said all that about fat storage just not so scientifically, i learned all that in biology.
and gaining weight isnt as easy as "going to the gym" trust me, ive tried. Besides, I don't want muscle wieght, just wieght in general. muscle weight is harder to lose, so later on in life if i decide i wanna lose wieght, i wont be able to as easily. besides, gymming and wieght-lifting is terrible and boring. i rock climb, good enough excersize for me, and it keeps me healthy. Also, if you're gaining weight around your hips and theighs, thats GOOD. if you're gaining wieght around your stomach and chest cavities, thats BAD. Fat around your gut and chest (usually from foods like mcd's and the junk with trans/saturated fats) at just suffocating major organs and your heart. Good fats, the stuff you need, are usually stored around your hips and theighs. hooray bio. hooray stuff i need for university. v.v;; |

you can't take a joke! Hooray! Anyways Dieting usually means, altering your diet, to fit your desires although, many people confuse it with y'know, not eating. I meant gaining weight in general. I also spoke from my perspective being a scrawny guy n' all and girls tend to you know, not want to gain weight on their hips and thighs. i have some rock climbing pics i could post too, but id rather not. (:
and id like to gain wieght on my hips, make them rounder... it would fit my body better. i like my stomach though :/ but being 19 at 105 lbs (i lost 5, holy crap) is pretty bad. average weight is between 125-130... i wanna be at least 120 before i stop caring (: |
