From what I read and understood, Microsoft only reversed their policies to cater to the crying masses that threatened to not purchase but it seems that they are still aiming towards a future with strict DRM and always online connectivity (and possibly doing away with physical discs).

As I said in the other thread, I have no reason to buy the new X-Box. The only x-box exclusive I play is Gears of War, and I haven't heard anything from Epic Games about a new one (I still haven't played the newest one). If they bring out a new game, and the system comes way down in price, I may consider it. But Sony currently has a death grip on my wallet.
