Well, you would probably need to know as many words in english to read an english paper. Kanji arn't random symbols either, they have structure :P

treu all true lol....i try and strat out by learning to read japanese ....once you go that down and you star reading alot of japanese newspapers and such it gets even easier to speak the llanguage,,,with the correct punouciation

lol...well not bad start...now you should try to start learing it properly....unless you want to wacht every single naruto episode again and again to know the punation...sentence strucher and everthing else lol XD

My japanese has slightly gone down hill cause i havent spoke it in a year or two as i used to, but once i got back there in two years time, i'll have it dlowing out my mouth again XD

Japanese is a hard language to learn, but english is much harder if your a foreigner and you don't know much. My parents are from brazil and the still don't have perfect english and they've been here for about 18 years.

If anyone wanna learn japanese or nihongo( real name of japanese lang) I will voluntarily help you I have the Basic 1 & 2 and advance 1 - 3 japanese guide... there's audio guide, clips and pdf files too...I will sure you that you will learn japanese and no time... I mean in for a short time and you will learn how to write and read too...

I'm taking Japanese 1 at school and I already know all the hiragana. (ひらだな) I can't believe that Chinese has over 2000 characters. o.o' I can also write all the major Naruto characters. Naruto= なると Sasuke= さすけ Sakura= さくら Kakashi= かかし and also one diffcult one Orochimaru= おろちまる

Sorry man, but they write the names out in katakana. Naruto is actually ナルト.
