thats both ends of the extreme... not at his current level and age but he still get stronger, he is a hokage's grand son after all. i doubt even itachi is THAT strong at konohamaru's age (5yrs?) i dnt know what the authors plans are, but i think konohamarucan be a strong one

i'm saying that you might be missing the message of the author, if you obsessed too much over power, it might end badly for you

I actually think Konohamaru is older. Like closer to 8 or 9 years in. In Which, Kakashi would a Chuunin by then, wasn't he? And Itachi was an ANBU by 13, so he must've been pretty strong before that. Additionally, you can't base your theory off of giving him the benefit of the doubt. "He is the Hokage's grandson, so he WILL get stronger." I think he will obviously get stronger, but not as drastically as you are speaking. He won't be anything special.

Actually Itachi was light years ahead of Konohamaru, Sasuke was stronger than him at his age and we all know how far Itachi was compared to him.
We don't know that, the 5th is the 1st granddaughter and look at her, she seems to be something special if not for the fact that she is the first woman hokage in the Hidden Leaf village.

Yeah, but Tsunade was also trained by Sarutobi, supposedly(emphasis on supposedly) the strongest/best/smartest Hokage in his prime. Konohamaru is being trained by....Ebisu?

We do not know what he can do if anything he might be at kakashi level in justu and everything don't for get kakashi told naruto to train with him. unless I am thinking about someone different. Then I take back what I said.

True, she was actually trained by him because there was a flashback where the 3 sannins are doing the bell test. Kakashi was also trained by the third and he gave his approval for Ebisu to train Naruto. Although he said it himself and we have no proof of it, Ebisu told Konohamaru that he is the quickest way to achieving hokage. I just don't think that at this time we can judge Konohamaru's future growth since we haven't seen him do any jutsu, except Naruto's sexy no jutsu which only took him a day to master.

i dont think konohamaru will do anything special. i mean, when naruto comes back to the village he's still doing sexy no jutsu. it didn't look like he improved at all. on the other hand kakashi and itachi grew up in a different environment where there were a lot of wars going on

I know this thread has been dead a while but i just wanted to bring up some info. Anbu are selected, they aren't trained you have to have that knack to be one. Sannin is a title given to the 3 shinobi that took on Hanzo the salamander and held their own. Sannin are powerful in their own right but aren't Jounin, they were genin when they became Sannin. Kage doesn't mean your the strongest shinobi it just means you have the leadership qualities, but of course usually are strong in their own right. Anbu can be genin, jounin, or chunin. They're basically scouts. trackers, assassins. Of course a lot of em die, thats because they aren't major characters in the series. Only time Gai can take Kakashi and win would be if he opened up to maybe 3rd+ lotus gate. In fact i think its been said that hes actually never beaten him in a actual fight and lost to Kakashi twice when they were younger. Every other "fight" has been rock paper scissors, races and the likes. As for Konahamaru being the grandson of the 3rd Hokage doesn't mean much, the 3rd wasn't exceptionally strong but he was really smart and just knew a ton of different jutsu's. For him to take on Itachi would be suicide, he's not as gifted as the rest with the exception of learning the Rasengan at his early age. Remember Itachi was already a ANBU at his age and leader a few years later. Tsunadae is actually a Hokage so shes not Jounin anymore.

ANBU no longer matters, whats left of the entirety of the shinobi world is about to be decimated, they're leadership gone, or greatly wounded. Survival, this should be a post about which characters will survive, they're finally starting to die.
