after rereading chapter 285 and 286, i'm kinda disturbed at those chapters emphasizing how similar sasuke and sai is (like similar looks and similar voice). i know, sai has a past, so he can't be sasuke. i'm thinking about a crazy but a possible idea. couldn't it be that sasuke.......has......a....twin? and that might be sai? they might got separated during their birth for an unknown reason. their parents (and even itachi, he might be the 3rd sharingan user itachi is referring) might know this but decided not to tell sasuke again, for an unknown reason but yet to be known. share your views about this guys. you can show me instances in the manga or anime that i may have forgotten to disprove this.

But anyway, it's a good theory Kakashi, but it's pretty unlikely. How would Sasuke have a twin without anyone in the entire village, including the Sandaime, or even the Sennin and elders not knowing about it? The only people were Itachi and Danzou? Now before I get flamed about "Well maybe the Uchiha wanted to keep it secret so they never told anybody," idea..let me just say that, even then, Hokage are supposed to be the smartest and strongest ninja in Konoha. How could they possible get that past him? I'm not sure about everyone else, but my theory would be that the Sasuke's mom could have a twin birth, and NO ONE knows about it. Especially for such a prestigious clan, where I'm sure most of the village gathered when Sasuke was born.

well, i'm thinking about danzou and this so-called "roots". he wanted to have as many good ninjas as possible and he wanted an uchiha to be included in the roots. he may have an affiliation once to the uchiha but then blackmailed them for something that might ruin the pride of the clan. he wanted their next son to be with him and sasuke's parents can't do anything about it. they may have kept the birth secret then the first-born was taken by danzou. luckily, she gave birth to another son, sasuke, then decided not to go after their first son. well, the whole village might have been interested only in itachi's birth because he's the first-born. and about the hokage, i know he's smart and powerful but not perfect enough to get those things run under his nose, especially concerning his rival, danzou. again, my theories regarding that matter.

chapter was alright...

i doubt they are twins....or even brothers.....it is probably just a trick kishimoto is playing on us to get us distracted from other things that we should be paying attention to...

in the upcoming chapter they will probably get along a bit better and maybe prove thier teamwork with a fight?......*flashback to kakashi vs sasuke, naruto, and sakura*.....

Actually through the power of deduction you can tell which way he was going. In the very first frame or drawing you see Naruto turned to the left facing the wooden fence seperating the women from the men. You can tell this because the women were still laughing reagading the Sai and Naruto conversation. The next frame Naruto has the great idea to go and sneek a peek at Sakura. Naruto begins to sneek off until Yamato stops him with a little food for thought regarding his actions. At that time Naruto is still creeping off in the same direction as Sakura, this can be verified because Yamato is still looking in the direction of Sakura which is the direction Naruto is in. Next frame we see Yamato continue to tell the story then we see Naruto stop in his tracks and turn around to wait for the ending of the story. That is what proof I have that Naruto was creeping away in the direction of Sakura, I guess another thing is because there was no where else for Naruto to go but to the side closer to Sakura.
