In Chapter 289 we have Naruto, Sakura, & Sai who are still having a dispute about sasuke and his past actions. We learn that Sai's brother has passed away. Yamato a fake name of a Anbu who takes on Kakashi's role as team leader, has henged into Sasori to fool the a Akatsuki spy inside Orochimaru's base. Which Surprisingly turns out to be Kabuto a long time devotee of Orochimaru and Medical Ninja Extraordinaire. Kabuto First mentions " A weird feeling remains from the time I remembered who I was, unsealed by Sasori-sama's technique... My head is still a bit heavy... After Yamato asks for information on Orochimaru's hideout and the location of Uchiha Sasuke, Kabuto explains Orochimarus is constantly on the move and is currently hiding on a small island of <or off> the north lake and well be moving in three days. After releasing this information a white rabbit disturbs the conference in which Kabuto uses a kunai to scare it. The next panel reveals Orochimaru watching Kabuto and Yamato and the bunny being devoured by his snake. We the viewers get a view of his hands without the bandages which means they seem to be healed.

My prediction is Sasuke appearing on the scene and killing Kabuto and possibly Yamato.

I just wana see orochimaru's retrbution on Kabuto ass, but who the hell knows turning out good and i hope sai becomes a more fading character which becomes erase cause for those like him to exist know no such things to belong to all tho shall he be smited.

my prediction:
yamato will try to captured kabuto, orochimaru or SASUKE will capture kabuto, orochimaru wont let anyone take his prey.

my prediction is kabuto is working with oro and faked spy or knew that isnt the real sasori or something, and then kabuto vs yamato as naruto/sakura chases down oro

look here, yamato notices something in bush first, then kabuto realizes yamato sees something and turns to throw shuriken into the bush, or he is just turning around, i cant tell i think those are just leafs, but anyways, and then a rabbit comes out.

and if it was shurikens kabuto obviously missed oro and on purpose too, he most likely just wanted to show yamato that no1 was there except a rabbit, even if he didnt throw anything, he was trying to get yamato to think it was only a rabbit, and this is why i think he is still working for oro, well for now at least, who nos wat kabutos plans are

I don't think Kabuto will be killed that fast.
IF he is the spy, then im guessing Orochimaru will want to keep him for a while before doing something to him, and if he really isn't a spy, then well like the others said...
I dont find it hard to believe that he is the spy though, because honestly he looked suspicious from the very beginning, im just surprised he actually go ahead with the meeting when he knew that orochimaru was suspicious of him too..

it might not even be the real kabuto...ii dunno...im puzzled by the whole scene..im hoping the next one will be more specific and detailed...rabbits everywhere.......sasuke's appearance shouldn't be too far off........

I think it really is him, but his motives are hidden.
I just want to know what happened 5 years ago to make Kabuto meet with Sasori, and why is Kabuto remebering who he is now??
Anyone remebers anything that happened 5 years ago to this chapter? That should be when the genins were about 10...I really don't remeber anything happening around that time....

dont u no that sasoris spys get placed under a memory jutsu, u should read ur chapters more carefuly again, the chapter when sasori attacks the sand defence, it shows yuura getting his memories back, and supposedly kabuto is feeling the same thing

oh hahha...ok honestly i didn't remeber that. but my point was how did he meet sasori. i mean 5 years back must have been a time when kabuto was with orochimaru.
or maybe i dont remeber this well either, but when kabuto was the only one who survived did he immediately go to orochimaru or do they not say.

kabuto went into konoha after he was found as a kid in the battle field, no1 nos did he team up with oro yet, or maybe he was already with sasori since then and didnt remember anything coz sasori placed a jutsu on him, and 5 years ago was the last time sasori released the jutsu so kabuto goes i havent seen u in 5 years etc

and i dont think kabuto is gonna die, he is too smart and powerful and it'll be a waste to build all that story into him for no reason and then just have him die, alot of ppl say sasuke is gonna kill him, but will sasuke get that much stronger? kabuto is like kakashis lvl, the curse lvl 2 wouldnt make a strong genin be able to beat a strong jounin lvl ninja
