I agree on the fierce deity for SSB, it may be too much... but maybe they should have a Majora's Mask link in the game where he has the ability to turn into the 4 different people for a limited time.

Lance could be used off horse back
and be used for medium range battles
like only being able to stab fire demons from afar, for if you get to close, you'll get burned
