I just thought I'd let everyone know that bittorent is now officialy illegal.

Well I guess its not illegal illegal but its against the law. Just read the article so you know what I mean.

(I put this here since I guess it is Naruto-related but if I'm wrong then please just movie it.)

Bittorrent is not illegal. What is illegal is the sharing of licensed property without paying fees to the license holder. This has always been the case, it's just America's anti-terrorism ideals are spreading to everything and they're becoming Nazi like with respect to file sharing :/ We should just use www.piratebay.org, as it's in Sweden and the MPAA can't touch it at all. Microsoft have tried and failed

So the MPAA can't do anything.

Also, you might just have to learn how to use IRC distros. Funnilly enough, there's a NL mIRC script in the process of being made, should be ready for release soon ^_^

Well guys you have to remeber. That every single anime that comes out of Japan that is fansubbed is Technically illegal.Sorry guys but thats the truth.Technically it cannot be shared with out the Written Consent of the anime creators. But Japan does not really pay any mind. They will get payed any how,when the U.S Buys the License,Then they end up On dvd here. Almost everything thats shared on BT is Illegal.There are many arguements On what should and should not be Shared on Bt, And probaly will never stop.I will post a few articles about Fansubbing and Licenses, When i get the chance.Thats why alot of groups Drop a series once it gets here in the US.Sucks for us who like a particualr anime, but thats how it is.

Here file sharing is illegal. Most P2P programs require that you also share media, what makes them illegal to use. But aslong you don't share anything, and only download, then it's legal. That's the case here in Finland. For example, downloading Naruto from via IRC is perfectly legal 8if you don't share) because you don't have to share anything.
