I know it's unfair. Kisame is an Akatsuki member who's high ranked, while Kakashi is just a Jounin.

Gotta give Kakashi some sort of advantage over someone like Kisame. >.>

Kikashi was in the ABNU but quite and don't foget, Kisame's sword can absorb chakra so if he can get in close enough he'll be able to absorb Kikashi's chakra and rip his skin off which has got to hurt more than being cut

Yeah, but most ANBU we've seen are basically fodder ninja. The only strong ones were Zabuza, Kakashi, Itachi, and Yamato. =\

Also, Samehada does in fact absorb chakra. But the chakra needs to be visible in order to absorb it.

I suppose Kikashi's Chidori wouldn't work if it struck the sword then, since its basicaly visable chakra, and Rasengan would be useless as well, we've seen Kikashi is able to use both

Yeah. It's a bit inconsistent. Chidori/Raikiri are said to pierce anything, so technically, it should be able to pierce Samehada.

Plus Rasengan stopped it in its tracks so theres an attack at least equil to it

i think that naruto always pulls through like against negi negi is supposed to be way stronger like in shiuppden negi is a jounin naruto is genin yeah naruto was away for 2 and a half years but the reast of them are all chunin and neji is a jounin and yet naruto bet him in theroy naruto couldnt beat genma but if they made an episode naruto would win

I say that Gai would win as I can't picture Anko matching his speed, strength, and taijutsu abilities. She may still have a chance at defeating him if she outsmart him and uses her ninjutsus on him.

Gai vs Anko? What a mismatch. Gai would slaughter her with taijutsu and speed. However, we haven't seen too much of her in battle. We do know knows some kinjutsu from Orochimaru, and snake jutsus. She's a special Jounin, what is that? A rank below Gai? This would be like a powered up Lee vs a severely powered down Sasuke. I think Gai would win based on what we have seen.

Kakashi could beat Kisame because he would just have to distract Kisame by copying his technique, something he was shocked about, then sending his sword, into another area with his MS...and possibly the arm too.
