I bet almost every1 is gonna say sasuke, and not even give reasons why, this isnt a popularity thread, its a VS thread so things like sasuke will win hes got a shrangan doesnt mean anything, i for one will think this would be an interesting battle

Neji is a close combat fighter who has devasting attacks and an defence for all ranges, and with his eye he can defned from all around, if sasuke took a direct hit he'll lose the curse power

sasuke is like a mid - close range fighter and his only far range moves is like 3 flame attacks which are not that strong, and he wouldnt use taijutsu against neji coz he knows better, so sasuke can only fight mid - far range which isnt really his style

well, sooner or later sasuke has to get close. using fire jutsus would only waste his chakra. weve seen before that its extremely easy to dodge those techniques. I was thinking that since has speed almost matches lee's, sasuke would have to use ultra fast taijutsu to beat neji. That's wait gai said during the chunnin exam. this poses another question. is sasuke faster than neji? It would be a hard battle to decide since both are known as genius ninjas and both have blood line limits. its funny since both geniuses lost to naruto in some way. neji because naruto actually beat him and sasuke because in his heart he feels naruto is somewhat stronger.

well lee is still a bit faster than sasuke without the gates and neji didnt even care and think he was a threat, so i would say sasuke still needs more speed if he is to beat neji in closecombat, neji is just above average with speed but has quick reflexes and agility

but both have a good reaction rate because of their related blood line limits. neji has an advantage at close combat. if sasuke gets his tenketsus hit he will have to depend on the curse seal, and thats not too good.

i would say itachi. kisame's pretty good himself but i doubt he knows a way to counter m.sharingan.

man itachi isnt only MS, i mean if a single MS can allow him to take out an akatsuki member that easily i would say itachi would be the leader, but he isnt, im sure the akatsuki members were chosen for good reasons, itachi has plenty of other skills amd the MS counters itself by making itachi way too weak after one move

ok,ok but still think it gives him an advantage, why would the series base blood line limits on it then. its like the most famous and most used in the series. no the ms though. but i think it just has a reputation for it being powerful. i dont know why but right now i dont think kisame is that strong. being in akatsuki brings him up a bit but i think i need to see more kisame action.

can he open eight? if he does shouldnt he be able to beat the real kisame? at least for now i get the impression that kisame is "worthy" of akatsuki.

another vs: chouji vs shikamaru
we know that shikamaru said he would lose but is he just trying to cheer chouji up?

if gai opens 8 he'll die right after, but he'l become as strong as an hokage, actully probably more stronger than hokages

chouji wouldnt be able to beat shika, he isnt fast enuff and most of his attacks are taijutsu so that involves getting some distance and shika has too many tricks with his placement and shadows
