I think Sai attacked on Naruto was jsut to get attention, so there no need to use a lethal jutso, he might kill someone near there.

mmm both sai and Deidara can fly around on their 'animals' as well as attack and defend both are long range fighters most of the time and in terms of experience i wouldnt say sai is too far behind Deidara. most of their jutsus seem to cancel out each other i suppose deidara would beat sai just because his jutsus and animals are created and done faste than sai's

Yamato due to his tree jutsu and I think he is more powerfull or near equal to Kakashi. I think we have not seen him go all out. Although he did seam scared of Kabuto on the bridge. He thought he might need Naruto and the others help. So maybe Kabuto is stonger then I think.

Kakashi. Even if he can't copy any of Kabuto's jutsus, he has a lot of others stocked from past fights. If he can't beat Kabuto with a few of those, there's simply no killing Kabuto.

i think kakashi can copy it but not perfectly..... remember in the konoha invasion arc? when kabuto was retreating he said something like kakashi could copy it but not completly........

still thinking kakashi would win....

You may be right that he could parsialy copy it because it is not like a blood line, but it does not have seals. He might have a better chance then I thought though ageinst him even in manga, because he maybe a better offencive fighter then the 5th and is for sure smarter.

Team 7 (Sai, Sakura, Naruto) vs. Team Gai (Rock Lee, Neji, Tenten)

Those are two match ups that would be interesting to see. Both cases are after the timeskip.

Temari hands down

team 7 vs team Gai....huh........team 7. naruto can take neji,sasuke can match lee's speed + he can do ninjutsu, time skip sakura can kill time skip tenten easily, young sakura could keep young tenten busy until either naru or sasuke were done with their fight and then one of then could finish off tenten

its the new team seven with Sai and not Sasuske... even though ill still prefer the team 7.

I would say that Sakura and Temari are even on brain level so out thinking is not a big factor. If Sakura could get her hands on her it would be over, but I don't think with Temari range that is posible. I give that fight to Temari

Old team 7 lose to team Gai. Ten Ten could beat Sakura as long as she only throughs things. Sakura would lose to neji do to him blocking her punches. Sakura would lose to Rock Lee he is to fast for her power. Although she is smarter so I would guess she could find a way to hit Rock Lee thus she wins. Sai then could take out Ten Ten but not Neji. That leaves the fight down to Neji and Naruto and I think with new jutsu naruto wins because he is wise enough to find a way to hit. So I give the battle to Team 7 especialy if they fight in the same area cause then Sai can help the other 2 after he wipes Ten Ten.

Temari vs. Sakura

Temari is very good at mid range combat. I dont think she will let Sakura get near to her. So illgive it to Temari. Sakura can shake the earth with her fist, but that jsut wont do for Temari. Also i think Temari has more instinct to kill tahn Sakura.

Sakura have super strength but it's still close combat. Unless she can throw giant boulders at Temari that is different. And Sakura is tough. If Temari kept her distance and hit her from long distance Temari will win

Team7 vs Team gai.

Naruto can take care of Neji

Sai is an Anbu so he knows how to fight a Taijutsu user.

Tenten... Sakura will sent her packing to ICU.
