Which one is better: PS2 or Xbox

I like both PS2 and Xbox, but I think Xbox is better. The graphics and the controller are much more advanced compared to PS2.

Xbox is so much better. Better graphics, virtually no loading times, no need for a memory card, and the controller is way better the playstations.

PS2 definatly. True, you can't play Halo on it, but I was born a playstation girl and I'll die a playstation girl.

Regardless of what people may think is better, PS2 is doing much better on the market without advertising much at all. I believe PS2 is better solely because it has a large variety of games. XBox has a miniscule amount in comparison. I don't buy a console to gape at it's features, I buy a console to enjoy good games.

I'm not really sure, I'm a PC gamer at heart, always will be, although there are some games I prefer on the consoles, such as driving games, especially Burnout 3. one feature I do like about the X-Box is that you can add your own soundtracks onto the harddrive and listen to them in game

It's true that PS2 has more games, but Xbox also has a fair amount of good quality games. Some of them are even better than the ones on PS2. Even though PS2 has a lot games, it is pretty impossible to play all of them, so the amount of games doesn't really matter. I think it is mostly about the quality and the ability of the console. (No offense Cain)

Both consoles are good I think. I don't really have a preference. It doesn't matter to me, I'm going to buy the xbox in a short while anyway and then I'll have both.

Yes, thats because Microsoft are selling it cheaper than they could. They want to break into the gaming market, so their console is priced too cheaply for Microsoft to make any real profits.

Anything made by Microsoft is not worth any value. ps2 is good now, Xbox is better than Gamecube but it's still worse than ps2, but I think psx (ps1) was better than ps2. I still play POI POI 2 on ps1... love that game ^_^

i have an xbox. my friend has a ps2. wish we cud play together. that wud be fun but wud never happen. i like the xbox's controller and xboxlive features. oh yea. i've posted this above, but Xbox Next ( i believe thats the name -- ) is coming late 2005 , early 2006. They jsut might release it too surprise nintendo/sony. At first, it'll probably be about $300-500.
