I believe theres other life in the universe, but aliens visiting earth. NO! Honestly, so many people are too caught up in the idea of ETs on earth to realise the brilliance of UFOs/aliens and theyre technoligy as a brillant ploy by the US military. Using UFOs and alien stories as misinformation to gain the reputation of a country with alien technoligy or alliance with aliens to make other countries fear the US and seek alliance instead of war. "Reputation Sheads less blood" Sun Tsu.

And UFO hype started a couple years after world war 2 when the US and Russia confiscated similar technoligy the Germans were working on like a saucer craft, ect.

There was a brief period of time that the military used those stories about ufo's to keep in secret their project aircraft which was the Blackbird SR-71. Now the rumors are about "aurora" aircraft. There are thousands if not millions of galaxies so there has to be a few that has life out there, but its quite a risky adventure to go into the nearest star (when you come back, thousands of years could have passed) let alone the nearest galaxy.

^also, in order for that to happen, you gotta live for like forever since it would be one heck of a very very long travel... and you gotta have an engine that could let you travel warpspeed which might be impossible as of this millenia...

yep, theres also the idea of using black holes as a shortcut through space but still it would take too much time with the technology now, even at light speed (the maximum speed possible) it is a few thousand years into nearest "possible" habitable planet. I watch too much history and discovery channel X_X

I didnt meant as getting in the black hole (that sounds dirty), I meant as using them as a shortcut. Ok basically all matter on space has gravity which is sometimes illustrated like this depending on their mass


That grid is basically "space" so a black hole has this enormous mass and so the hole it makes on space is much bigger, so scientist are thinking of using that as a way to travel, like if you have a straight cable right and then you make a U form on that cable, the cable length shortens.

its impossible with todays tech but if we find a way to get light speed it will be pretty much the only way to shorten the distance, its not going thru a black hole, its going around the black hole, going thru would be suicide.

you would die if you've been sucked in by a black hole. And no, we cant use black hole. It appears on the most unlikely period, like when a nearby star dies.

Well, as was probably already stated, 'aliens' existing is definitely within the realm of science and logic.

Who knows how they would have evolved though?

For some reason I doubt they would look exactly like us humans. But I don't think they would look like aliens from the science fiction movies either. Of course, I'm rooting for the day an alien civilization comes to Earth and kills us all.
