Theories? Okay. Here's what I think'll happen to the currently fighting Akatsuki.
Kisame - Not too sure. Sort of need to see Suigetsu's abilities.
Itachi - ...I won't say it...

I think Kisame might put a good fight but am not really sure if he might survive though...

I actually don't like Kisame... but I don't underestimate his abilities as an Akatsuki member. Yeah, I think he'll kick more ass.

well like SL said, we gotta see suigetsus abilities. and im sure kisame will survive cause hes pretty strong and has monster chakra and his samehada can stop suigetsu from doing any jutsu

I think Suigetsu may surprise Kisame a few times, and, that's it. I can't see Kisame dying by Suigetsu's hands, even if Suigetsu is of this new generation. I want to think Kisame's death is reserved for Gai or Lee.

I doubt anyone on sasuke's team is going to kill Kisame.. but it will be kinda wierd if itachi dies before kisame for some reason to me..

I know lol They're like, always together and always seemed friendly to one another. I always imagined they'd die at the same time.

yeah i was thinking the same thing.. i always expected Kisame to die and then a couple minutes later Itachi.. its almost like you cant have itachi without kisame or the other way around

funny thing is everyone is saying that its still a while before the manga ends but it seems like its moving kinda fast..

I think Gai should severely injure Kisame, but not kill him. With Gai's death at Kisame's hands, you just know it will empower and inspire Lee to surppass Gai in taijutsu, and he'd avenge Gai by killing Kisame himself.
