Yeah no sand Ninjas that we know probably would be wind natured because none are good at close combat. Maybe Temari because she is mid range and it is sead to be effective close and mid.

Got to me it means an elaboration or more powers. and it not like it is new it is just in the front of the story right now. element jutsu has been here since the first arch. Also It might be interesting to see the elements channeled through the puppets.
