Dude just get it in you're head, you CAN NOT beat me in a ramen eating contest! I can understand the poem one but Ramen NO! Their is no chance ever! Anyways as for the poetry contest what are the rules on it and what not? I kind of feel like particpating in it but I don't want to write a poem before I have the rules down.

You will be doing a Petrarchan (Itaclian) sonnet.
There is a specific format as to which lines talk about what, but it won't be necessary here. I'm not that mean.

An example is found below:
Soft evening breezes stir across my hair (a)
as I upon the pillow of thy breast (b)
lay this heavy head for a long night's rest. (b)
Thy gentle breaths, music beyond compare, (a)
a lullaby that I could not forswear. (a)
Soft the feel of cotton in which thou'rt dressed, (b)
