I consider Madera 'pure' because at least currently its assumed he's the older brother that would make him the first Uchiha ever born between his father (alien??) and Hyuuga Clan, and the first ever Sharingan. His brother had a sharingan as well, and both had MS eventually. Madera was going blind and took his brothers MS to gain EMS. This power along with the Kyuubi assisted him in defeating his father who simply wanted to take his body as a vessel, ala Orochimaru. The 1st was upset with his affiliation with the Kyuubi and they fought, and he lost. Yet he still lives that makes him pretty damn bad ass, but I'm assuming Itachi attempted the same during this battle and sorely failed, and also Sasuke never showed an MS during the battle. Zetsu narrated the entire battle so in my opinion when he expresses concern over why Itachi couldn't dodge some of Sasuke's attacks, as well as commenting on the amount of blood he spit up as if he was injured before the battle is the message Kishi is putting out there purposely. Madera has place 90 percent of his attention on Sasuke for a reason, and Itachi stated he was a shell of his former self possibly a hint that he was double crossed by Madera and also that he knows it. Even though he was possibly hurt he could take Sasuke's eyes and become greater than Madera, thats probably why he didn't break off and retreat because he knew that Madera had something planned and he wouldn't get another opportunity. Eventually Sasuke will battle him (its plot no choice), and Madera will be battling for a new beginning ala taking Sasukes body, while Sasuke will be battling for his memory of the Uchiha Clan and avenging them. Of course he will defeat Madera, but here is something that would be madd cool. One of those Oro snakes invade Itachi, who in turn becomes an Uchiha ally, and says... "Sasuke you are truly the greatest Uchiha ever", then he must kill him (I KNOW AGAIN) because Oro is attempting to take over, a sad ending that make Sasuke only stronger.

Madara's plans for Sasuke - from my point of view - :
I guess Madara wants either Sasuke's eye or body. I'm not sure yet because I don't see why he'd want his eyes - as he already has the EMS - I think that if he'd want Sasuke's eyes it would be to create another Sharingan Jutsu, even more powerful than the EMS.
His body? Well Madara would need a body because I seriously doubt that he is still using his original body, it should have decomposed a loooooong time ago.

Yes this will bring a dilemma to Kakashi (possible new goodbye for Obito to Kakashi), but Sasuke will defeat Madera.

This weeks episode proves that Madera is faster than Pein, hell faster than the 4th according to Kakashi, thats why the win will be even sweeter, Sasuke was never supposed to defeat Itachi, but not one shinobi has stood with Itachi to the brink or even could I guess except for Pein & Madera. Maderas about to chase after the body, but team Hebi will get there first.

i like your views on the whole thing, but i dont think sasukes victory was unexpected. madera knew sasuke would win. and now that kakashi knows tobi is an uchiha, im intriuged as to where kishi's guna take this.

That was a bit of sarcasm toward the Sasuke haters of the earth, namely Nami if you know him. i think Madara is going Oro on Uchiha's =/ taking over of young Uchiha bodies, like Sasuke D: and i do beleive Sasuke is able to surpass Madara ;o

Yeah everyone seems to want to live forever which makes it dangerous to be young and talent in this shinobi world. You're correct there would be no reason to the story if Naruto and Sasuke never surpassed Pein & Madera, I believe in a year they will be equal to Frieza in Dragonball as they face their own version of Cell.
