But I thought that according to the Koran, ANY depiction of Mohammad is a problem. And if they only get mad when being made fun of... Then see my link. Mohammad has been made fun of a number of times in the past. Nothing then.

Exactly it was bad enough to print it once, and instead of making an apology, they reprint it! What makes it even worse is the way it was started. Someone said that that editor would piss on a Bible but was too scared to make cartoons about muslims, and to prove what a big fearless man he is, he prints these.

Have you even thought about what muslims are feeling right now? I am muslim and was outraged when i saw a picture of our prophet Muhammed (pbuh) with a bomb wrapped up on his head. Not all muslims are terrorists nor evil. But to judge muslims as a whole is totally out of order.

And it is Koran in English, which is a transliteration. It's why in Hebrew, the real written name for God looks like some squiggly lines. In transliteration, it's "Adonai."

No riots were held when South Park put Mohammad in the Super Best Friends in their show. No riots happened during any of the cartoons depicting Mohammad BEFORE this new one. Nobody died. Nobody was murdered.

Read my whole posts and not just the first sentence. They reprinted it and that can be called bad taste. (They did apologize however and the guy who reprinted it was fired. Multiple apologies have occured already.) However, there is a thing called FREEDOM OF SPEECH over there. It means you can say whatever the fuck you want whenever you want. Don't like it? Get stoic.

Mmhmm. I believe that. However, there is an overwhelming number of Muslims that ARE kooks because of the corrupt governments and the misinterpretation of their own religion.

And get a clue: The cartoon was saying that Islam is becoming more and more violent. It was not saying "Death to Islam" or whatever some people are interpreting it as.

Please give me examples of all of the peaceful protests. Please, enlighten me. Give me links to the news stories on them. I'm more than willing to list DOZENS of articles about the DOZENS of violent protests out there. The media is reporting the truth: There are being violent reactions where people DIE. That's important.

The cartoons were offensive, yes, but I don't think any offensive action should make it okay to kill others. Right now, they're quenching fire with fire. Sin does not make up for sin. I really don't know how they're going to get out of this one. I think both sides are at fault, though.

yes i agree both sides are at fault cos well firstly it is like so totally wrong of the danish to make fun at the muslims right? they shudnt haf dunnit but den again all those protestings from the muslims shudnt go on till its so exagerated i mean i am a muslim but then again i dun exactly agree with their way of protests(muslims)...

They apologized yeah, but 4 months after it initially happened, and that was what the muslims wanted in the first place. And there's also a thing called responsibility. There are no rights or freedoms without limitations. I have the right to own a gun, but I do not have the right to shoot anyone that I want. Likewise, I can say what I want as long as I keep it civil, but I can't go about insulting a 1/6 of the worlds population.

And that's Bull. That is what makes this mostly offensive. And why i agree with the Islamic actions over the Danish.
