i am debating the debate section!
i dont think this is right
sooo many people are going to get mad at sooooo many other people
this is just going to create chaos

lol, what away to start off the new forum. I think thats its ok. But you're right, some people will get so into it and start flaming and stuff. As long as no one goes crazy, I'm all for it.

yeah but humans are imperfect and noone can stop themselves from getting mad and flaming and getting crazy
thats why im saying you mods shouldnt do this is just for yourselves because this could mean lots of cleaning

I think it would be a nice addition but it kinda reminds me of the spam zone since people will simply post back and forth and back and forth and...well you get the idea. I thought that was what PM or AIM was for!

You cannot have a debate with "Yes! No! Yes! no! You're wrong I'm right!" you need to have reasons behind your arguements, not just stubbornness. Any debate that turns into a flame war, will, I'm sure get locked, the flamers warned, possibly banned. But if theres a debate I'm interested in, I'll take part

I know that (was just an example of the frequent posts made by a single person) but one must be weary when opening such topics. People get really pissed off. I was just ising the whole scene as a backdrop for what will become of it if not highly moderated. People will be lining up to voice thier opinion so that is good but with things like religion, politics, etc Things can get messy...take it from me! On the bright side I as many others would love to have this opened up!

My vote is for Sylent Chaos's proposal!
