Good point. Fun fact: Among the 9 Leaf Rookies of Naruto's year, the only person smarter than Shino is Shikamaru. Then again, Shikamaru can't have a swarm of bugs permanently damage an enemy so that they can never fight again.

i know this is 1/2 off topic but,do you know who Shino remindes me of? Sadow, of course! ^_^ I mean,both hardly talk, both are really mysterious(except for the ones whove played/beat Shadow the Hedgehog) and well, thats the only similarities i could come up with, btw, i want in here

btw,(again) does any1 agree with what i posted up there?

Hope this one isn't dead...I want to join! Aburame Shino's one of my favorite characters from Naruto!

But for the Kankuro topic...he definitely would have become a chuunin. Like ShinobiKnight said, the only person smarter than Shino is Shikamaru. But Shino has a swarm of deadly, chakra-eating bugs living under his skin, so I think he beats Shika anyway. ^_^

I mean, look at it this way...if Shika and Shino were to fight, and Shika were to lock Shino with the Kagemane no Jutsu, the bugs could still get out and get Shika. So, Shino is also easily one of the strongest shinobi in the village. My thoughts, anyway.

It's very possible that he might, but I doubt it. It's sad, but he's not one of the most main characters, so either it'll be very late on or never. -sigh-
