my fav character is/was Sirus Black.. cried when he died.. sob sob
poor Harry... almost had a real family but lost him.. i think it was such a waste that he died.. however, i have yet to c y it was necessary to kill him off!
hope the 3rd book will reveal this.. u know when its coming out?

heh just noticed i was a member. Hmmm, id say my favorite character is Draco. Hes moved from a snotty brat in the first 5 books to a rather complex one in the 6th, and id love to see whats in store for him in the next book, whether he become a death eater or an unintenional ally of harry

darn!! a whole other year! Draco as an ally of Harry? hard to believe... but it'll b a great twist if that happens! Wonder if Harry would even want him to b an ally, cos Draco can b such a pain.. but he is powerful, though he deals more with dark magics....initially i used to wonder if Drace likes/or would like Hermonie that's y he cant stand her so much, but seriously doubt that! mudblood...hehe

After book 6, do u guys think that Dumbledore really died? or is it all part of a greater plan to 'fake' his death?

i think hes dead, he was meant to because
a)the mentor passes on so the student can excel
b)harry's got to do the dirty work himself
c)dumbledores pic is on the wall meaning hes dead
d)the only person who survived avada kedavra is harry
e)hes old, hes gotta die sometime

yeah it may seem like draco and harry allies? wtf, but i think draco may help harry because draco isnt all as evil as he may want himself to be. He was about to accept dumbledores proposition on the roof, but unfortunately the other death eaters came and broke it up. I think JKR may have draco help harry becuase draco doesnt seem like he would fit as a death eater, and draco may have an honorable death helping someone he has hated all his life.

on another note, is snape good or evil?

well its difficult to say because of the circumstances. You have to realize that had snape not killed dumbledore, snape, draco, maybe harry, and dumbledore would have been killed. There were 4 or 5 death eaters with snape, and if snape didnt kill dumbledore, one of the other death eaters would have and snape and draco would have been punished probably by death.

i think snape is confused actually.. hehe but i think he has some good in him regarding Harry... but guess we wont know the truth until book 7.... when it FINALLY comes out... but a totally good snape would b kind of an anti-climax, cos actually i think most pple see him as a bad person, acting good..hehe

I don't think Snape is fully on Voldemorts side, I think Dumbledore made Snape take over from Draco, to prevent such a young boy from doing something so horrible that it would spilt his soul.
Dumbledore had to die to make Harry just a little more determind (sp?) to kill Voldy.
Anybody have any predictions on how Harry will vanquish meany pants?

well, i dunt think harry is gonna take out voldemort with dark arts. From what weve seen, he is unable of casting dark arts. When snape fought harry at the end of the book, there was a lot of foreshadowing/advice from snape. Harry couldnt do crucio on snape, and i think snape was hinting at that even though it sounded more of a taunt. Also, harry HAS to learn occlumency and silent casting better. So i think harry is going to have to master these two aspects of magic first before he has ANY chance of taking on voldemort, and i thikn this wa the message snape wanted to get across to harry.

i think that snape wants or tries to help harry but it always sounds like a threat or a taunt so harry never listens.. i mean who would?? damn! i gotta go catch up on harry potter books 6&7 man.. seem to b forgetting how it goes..
