nope..definitely not about fruity people. lol the title is fruits basket because it's a name of a japanese game. It's like tag or sumthing. kids get to be their fave fruit, and then the leader calls out the name of that fruit, they all ran around chasing each other and having fun. hehehe... if relating the title to the anime, it's somehow talking about a sense of belongingness. that is one of the major issues in this story. ^^ (hope this person gets to read this) lol
