Has anyone else seen the Promo for this?
I thought it was decent, the music sounded promising too.
This is coming out a bit later on this year, has anyone else heard anything about this series?

The "Game World" is the place where people escaped from the "Real World" arrive. Haseo, who chose multi weapon as his character's vocation, is one of them. He doesn’t have any specific purpose to play the network game, "The World". However, the encounter of Ovan, a steam gunner, changes him. Ovan says to him, "You have a talent". Since then, he meets various players, such as Filo, a harvest, Ender, a blade, and Shino, a harvest. All of them must be related to Ovan’s words. What kind of talent does Haseo have? What is the purpose of "Twilight Brigade", the guild that Ovan organizes? I found out this at http://www.animenfo.com/animetitle,3...ck__roots.html

Yeah, this series is set years after the first one.
In the year 2015, the game "The World" has a major network crash, but by using bits and pieces of the leftover data, a new world was created, which had the name"The World:R2" or something like that, and we've got some new people to watch and what not.

And for some odd reason, it looks like Tsukasa, yet again.

Tis the first Ive heard of it. Though it's hard to understand each dothack series if you dont watch every show.

.hack//DUSK?? Never heard of it....

yeah heard all about .hack//ROOTS...its awesome looking....although I think the events took place in 2017....I'm not sure.....I think Haseo has some sort of connection with our old fiend Skaith because I've watched sooo many trailers of the game but I couldn't watch the trailer for .hack//ROOTS because of some sort of quick-time software....it wasn't to date...and well I didn't know which one to download....

Anyways .hack//ROOTS will be making its debut on Tv Tokyo (or basically in Japan) in April sometime and then the game will follow soon after in May...8D can't wait!!
