Obviously Naruto will surpass Yondaime. He will be the greatest hokage ever. I predict by the end of the show Naruto, Sakura and Sasuke would be at an unbelievable level that far surpasses the previous kages.

i Agree with you i think they will be the Sannin or what ever Uber title for a ninja and be Far beyond The current sannin and such

Alright we need a new topic. So Naruto is going to master the rasengan, and take it to a whole new level where even the genius Yondaime couldnt do. When he completes the training he will surpass Kakashi. Thats just crazy. If he gets to train more he is well on his way to becoming a hokage. How far do you think Sasuke has progressed? He already had an element and even managed to learn Chidori in no time. Their growth rate is scary.

This is going to be so cool to see, and I have no doubts at all that Naruto is going to surpass the Yondaime, I mean, he's the freaking main character! There's no way he's not going to surpass a dead person. Also I'm having my doubts that Naruto is Yondaime's son. Please people, bring me back to the light. I'm needing more proof now then ever.

Thank you i couldn't say it better. Everyone that says that he can't do this and can't do that has to keep in mind that the name of manga and anime is NARUTO, meaning NARUTO is the main Fing character. it's the story of HIS rise. He WILL be hokage he WILL get the girl (sakura) And will get his best friend back. lol the name of the show does give it away a bit but even the main character has to go through a few hardships. I dont think hes going to get it right away but he WILL get it eventually. And since this is Naruto we're talking about he will more then likely put his own little twist on it when he uses it. As far as Sasuke goes I hope he understands that if Orochimaru takes his new and improved body then it will be Orochimaru going after Itachi...not Sasuke. I'm not going to lie, in my opinion Sasuke is probably stronger then Naruto right now. It may only be a little stronger but stronger none the less. Sasuke may have lightening and fire and sure he learned Chidori in a short amount of time...but Naruto is headed along the same path and with that new training technique of Kakashi's Naruto will be able to match Sasukes level in no time.

Anywho...I believe in Kakashi's words. Naruto has the will, determination and heart to achieve his goal and even pass Yondaime's level.

I reckon the whole purpose of this training is to catch up to Sasuke and to also prepare him for Akatsuki. Naruto isnt the only one whos training you know.

I think it is also to prepare him to fight sasuke if orochimaru steals sasukes body and try to attack konoha using the sharingan.
