hmm....i'm part chinese.....i've never tried cat or dog meat....my cousin owns a resturant and he's chinese....he doesnt serve that though:/.....i know since i use to work for him.....but yeah i agree with NK.....

well in takeaways, definitely not..well not here and not in restaurants either. Well, not the ones I know of. Yes, I have relatives ¬¬ Anyway, in poorer areas of china they might do because any meat they have to be grateful for. They gotta eat, y'know.

Apparently, cat meat isn't very tasty..too stringy..according to my history teacher..

I'm Chinese and have been to China five times. Every time I was there, I ate dog meat. IT TASTES COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN CHICKEN. It's too easy to spot the difference. Even the texture is different. This is most likely a hoax.

Also, Chinese food in America is nothing like real Chinese food. In China, most everything is either spicy as heck, garlicky as heck, sour as heck, or sweet as heck. I've never seen a Chinese restuarant here serve anything similar to a real Chinese restaurant in China.

i have this video where a family of philippines people bought 2 cute labrador puppies
n when they brought it home the wife sliced the puppies n deboned n cleaned the insides & cooked it...
the puppies were still like crying n howling in pain when the wife cleaned the insides...
even tho' im not fond of dogs i think these kind of people exist & they r sick... i cried while watching the video....

im a filipino, and yes, filipinos eat dogs. but, it is illegal. so whenever someone tries to cook dog meat, they slaughter it secretly. and anyway, it's only those ppl who drink (i mean drink liquor) that eat dog meat. <but dont count me in!>

eh I am Taiwanese and basically being around a lot of asains all the time you knows things..
I am sure there are some shops that sell dog and cat meat and they don't pass it on as some other meat. Some people like the taste of dog and cat meat, I heard from many chinese and koreans that dog meat is very good and high quality. It's nothing really to make a thread over, well at least in my opinion. It's just we aren't use to it..--''
