Why naruto is not respected...well what is there to respect? he is immature, childish, and alot of other things. After the time jump things may change but we will see...

i think ppl dont respect naruto becuse of all the pranks on the village but if u think bout it if you would have helped him he wouldnt have done all of that right?

he is respected. by lee, by sakura, by sasuke, by kakashi, his friends. respect comes in different ways. lee sees naruto as the guy who defeated his rival, neji. sakura knows naruto trys hard and just by being his friend is a form a respect, whereas before she didnt even want to sit in the same room with him. sasuke sees naruto as a rival , and vice versa. kakashi sees potential in this stupid looking guy. and the rest of the genin can trust him to do his part in missions and such. so i wouldnt say he's not getting any respect. also, everyone they meet during the series, they begin to know and respect naruto. examples; inari and his grandfather, haku and zabuza(even though their dead) those who challenged him, in the end, has some sort of respect toward naruto, no matter how stupid he acts. neji's problem child case is a classic example, of how an uber genius began to respect a loser who had something to say...ok?

worlds nature...people only see the past..people only see the bad things..when doing some good things..its nothing..no one would see it as a good thing as they are influence by the bad thing...corrupted..whats more naruto is an orphan..a good for nothing kids who had no parrent..a lonely guy..!a desprete guy..!he can only strive...when no one can see it...even sakura...except sasuke..sasuke would acknowledge naruto..but with his type of ego...its useless...!..but..there are people who respect naruto..gaara respect naruto..!thats for sure..!

they don't "respect" naruto because if everyone was like "Oh my naruto your awsome" they would have no material for the fiillers let alone the main storyline... if he was a genius, there would have been no big thing when he beat neji, or more importantly, when he defeats Aoi sasuke relizes how strong he is and gets jealouse, then fights him and persues orochimaru to get power to beat naruto, but like i said if naruto was awsome and everyone loved him none of this would make a good story.
