Yahiko no Sakabatō
I cant believe no one has made a thread for this yet, amazing, well, as some of you probably know Yahiko was a young desendent of samurai's, he was forced to live as a thief for the Yakuza, who tricked him into believing that he still had to pay off the money they gave to his mother for medicine. With the help of Kenshin and Kaoru, he became an apprentice of the Kamiya Kasshin style.
And now, the young man from rurouni kenshin, has his own manga, i admire the great art style applied in the kenshin manga's so much, it's great to know that there will be more! i know others feel the same way too. Oh? and did i mention he still has a crush on that waitress girl, Akabeko's , Sanjō Tsubame, the same little girl from before. her grown up he use to be a hotheaded kid, now hes more of a badass if anything. snape it was resently featured in shonen jump, you wont want to miss it! If you'd like to read the same preview i did, you can, right here enjoy! ( you better) http://kenshin.gamesurf.it/index.php?lan=en&pg=63

Re: Yahiko no Sakabatō
Nice info, but I think this is really old I remember reading Yahiko No Sakabato like 3+ years ago translated in the internet. What I didnt know was that watsuki published novels that had to do with RK. I just saw one in the american ver. of Shonen Jump.

Re: Yahiko no Sakabatō
oh well, i guess then it'l be more of a reminder then news. i thought i heard about it being old, but it seems like i should had looked a little more into it, i couldnt find it on the internet, so i figured maybe it was new, so i guess this will be more of a discussion thread if anything. ( either that, or it will just sink in the bottom of the threads list)
if anyone can find me the web page with this manga on it, then i'd appreciate it.

Re: Yahiko no Sakabatō
It isn't really old news, since America hasn't got it yet. The sad part is, Watsuki abandoned this little side-story to do Buso Renkin, which I think is a far less interesting series, but oh well.

Re: Yahiko no Sakabatō
This is where I read it a couple of years ago, along with all the other RK chapters. Unfortunetly they are not scans only translations.

Re: Yahiko no Sakabatō
Haha, when I first saw this thread, I thought it was only a coincidence how Yahiko no Sakabato reminded me of Kenshin. I've never actually heard of these series thought. u___u

Re: Yahiko no Sakabatō
Watsuki didn't abandon it. It was meant to be a short. I wish it wasn't, though, because I liked it.

Re: Yahiko no Sakabatō
Wow, Watsuki's art style looks rather different from Ruroken, wtf.
