As far as Akatsuki only getting all the bijuus with Naruto dying, dont forget there are loopholes to these kind of things.

First, Gaara is still alive and they have his bijuu, I know it was the old ladys technique that *only she knew*. However it was NOT specified to be a bloodline techinque which means that sharingan can copy it. I doubt kishi made a point for showing kakashi staring at it with the sharingan for nothing.

Second, according to the 3rd the sealing jutsu used to seal the kyuubi had two side affects. 1st that being sealed would be sealed into the person using the jutsu, 2nd the person using the jutsu would die. The 4th is dead but why is the nine-tails in Naruto? Kishi has explained every jutsu and anything he has not explained has always turned up later with some form of importance.

With that being said, I beleive Akatsuki will obtain all 9 bijuus and Naruto will still be alive though somone important to him will die. Kakashi became who he is due to his best freinds sacrifice there is no second thought he wouldnt due the same for Naruto. With all the speculation that nine-tails is actually holding back Naruto's strength with it removed I wonder how strong he would be.

I think Naruto will certainly loose the Kyuubi especially since Yamato talked about how Naruto's chakra was superior to Kyubi chakra. Naruto will not die tho, like Gaara.

I think Akatsuki will get all the bijuu into the statues, or else they would be nothing of a threat.

I can understand how you feel, but Kyuubi is evil, and so is Naruto as long as he has the Kyuubi inside. Do you remember he nearly killed Sakura twice? The plot has already started building the end of Kyuubi-Naruto.

i don't think the akatsuki can even get naruto to the statue and hold him down for however long the jutsu takes. i mean, 6 tailed kyuubi wiped the floor with pein. imagine 9 tailed vs madara. unless madara could pull out another retarded uchiha sharingan property that could control the kyuubi, madara would be totally screwed. beings of pure chakra like the bijuu pwn even the most super powered immortal shinobi.

also, there'd be no story if naruto lost the kyuubi (the source of any power that could possibly give him a fighting chance against higher lvl ninja), died, or something else unsavory like that. it'd be pretty stupid if all of the jinchuuriki died in the extraction process except for naruto. gaara doesn't count 'cause he had chiyo to bring him back. he still died, and so did chiyo (the ONLY person who knew the jutsu)

anyway, if madara was able to recreate the jyuubi he'd be unstoppable. naruto wouldn't have the kyuubi powers to help him pwn madara, so naruto would most likely die and the whole naruverse would get stuck in that god-forsaken sharingan genjutsu.

^For God's sake, read the date the thread was made and its last post. This dated way back to Aug, 2006. and a lot has happened b/n now and then. Some of the post acyually had a fair idea as to what will happen and it came to pass.
