yepie, finally i was waiting for this and im glad they put it on adult swim instead of tooniam, ah when they do tononiam things seem to turn out like naruto BELIVE IT. alteast on adult swin nothing will be cut.

lmao, some how it is a lot like bleach portals dub, but more... standable.

I really like rukia's and I love the background music.

It actually sounds pretty decent voicewise however it seems like they're advertising it as some horror show, they're really playing on the whole he can see ghosts thing.

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who likes the Bleach dub so far. If johnny Bosch and Michelle Ruff are going to put in the same quality they did for Eureka 7 & Chobits, I can't wait. I just hope this doesn't turn into some stupid depate lasting until the premiere like Naruto did.

This is gonna be good though cause Bleach owns >.> I loff rukia's voice. I mean in her interview she did say she was gonna do something not too harsh but not too girly, and voila she got the right pitch

Personally, I hate the translation of shinigami. "Death god Ichigo" sounds lame "Shinigami ichigo", that is cool. "Soul reaper ichigo"..well.. better than death god. Plus, it would confuse people if they put "death god' in the anime, but soul reaper in the manga. On top of that, for non japanese, it would be odd to read bleach and see a guy in a kendoka's get-up called a shinigami, and a GIANT BLUE MOSTER WHO KILLS PEOPLE BY WRITING THEIR NAMES IN A BOOK called shinigami. Soul reaper is an accurate translation.

I also think it might have to do with the way westerners preview god. Most westerners have one god, one lord of death (grim reaper). However, in japanese mythology, there are an infinite amount of shinigami. Death god indicated they are the god of death, not a god of death, but the god of death. Soul reaper is far less confusing to te avrage north american.
