Just a heads up Izanami isn't going to be some physical shit like another fireball or laser-beam. Listen to how it's actually described & you'd see why it will be what leads to the end of the fight. You know since creating a chain of actions & or events that will lead up to an ultimate conclusion(In this case the ending of Edo Tensai) is in no way your run in the mill jutsu.

Well, pre-death flashbacks ahoy. My problem wasn't the flashback. My problem with this chapter is that they could not have placed the flashback any more awkwardly, and they had to end it ridiculously abruptly. It just wasn't done well.

How bad is it that I really fucking wish the care bear was the one fighting Kabuto instead of Sasuke and Itachi? Because holy shit. At least a Sage v Sage battle would be goddamn interesting; this is boring as shit.

The first time I read through this chapter I thought it matched its title, "nothing". After a second reading I began to appreciate it a little more.

I am confused about Kabuto saying that he is closest to Rikudo Sennin, what about Madara or Tobi or Naruto? It would seem that he expects Naruto to be his ultimate test, as Naruto seems to be the last one he wants to fight. Personally I could accept Kabuto surviving but canceling Edo Tensei as I would like to see him fight Naruto.

I wouldn't put it past Kishi to ruin Kabuto's "nothing" heritage by giving him some famous blood out of the blue like Senju or Uzimaki or some other strong clan aside from the Uchiha.

It is nice to learn about Kabuto's past. For me Kabuto becoming one of the main villains was a surprise.

My computer is showing signs of blowing up so if I disappear for longer than usual that's why.

I gotta say, I wonder why people call Sasuke EMO, Itachi was about to cry for Kabuto, I felt hurl in the back of my throat. I mean this wasn't Kisame, some Akatsuki Member, not even somebody from the Leaf, a nobody kid that some broad gave glasses to that had a bad life. No tears here, lots of kids had bad lives, Nagato, Konan, Kimmimaro, Haku, Zaku, Orochimaru, Sasuke, Naruto, please the freaking list is endless. I guess its necessary to make Itachi the ultimate pacifist, he believes in something in everyone.... ugh, more hurl.

I have no problems with flash backs, we usually get some form of a back story on the villain. Issue here is that well, it happened at the most annoying time. Seems very odd for the fight to build up to semi-interesting levels and then for the villain to cease fighting and break into a monologue of his past; though I have to admit, Kabuto is probably the most sentimental villain of the series. Oh yeah, Izanami, almost forgot about that one. Kishi is famous for stuff like that. Maybe the week after next we'll know what it is.

Possible but no cause i don't think he needs to since Sasuke is not really in an irreversible state-of-wanting-to-destroy-konoha and i think itachi will reveal to Sasuke one thing that tobi left out after kabuto fight is over that probably win him more to the good side.

Ummm dude I'm referring to Itachi making it Sasuke's destiny to stop Kabuto. You know since Izanami can define ones destiny. Itachi already acknowledges that he won't be the one to change Sasuke's ways he's leaving that to Naruto. Further proof of that is how Itachi explains that he acknowledges that he can't do everything on his own.

Oh ok... If Izanami is for making it Sasuke's destiny to stop kabuto than i think Itachi should not have said/hint it more than once (i think) that he will be perfect to stop Kabuto. So just my opinion no, but you can still argue he did the Izanami and in an indirect way through Sasuke stop kabuto.

The problem I have with Kishi using Kabuto as "I've been a no one from the start" is that Tobi is already a "nobody". There isn't enough room to have two villains running around with a similar approach as to how they acknowledge themselves.

There are a couple times in the current week that Kabuto eyes are open, I'm thinking he's already in the Genjustu of Hell which is seemingly this new tech.

Everybody in the manga (including) Itachi seems thrown off by Kabuto's uber power boost, and fuck at least Sasuke dosen't even know about Edo-Madara's existance, but I'm thinking Itachi had a feeling, somehow. At least Sasuke knows when to spam some more Amaretsu, give my Dude a break, his author sucks.

If you're talking about Itachi using the Totsuka Sealing Sword, all bets are supposedly off. The Edo's wouldn't die, I'm thinking they have to actually control Kabuto to do it, (which ain't gonna happen, he's too boosted), or this new jutsu will basically reverse time and change the dynamics ensuring the difference of destiny, IMHO, if that dumb sounding shit makes any sense,

Not hating, or diss, but what exactly do you suspect, I've guessed above like a rewind video tape with changes. Whats your take?
