593: From within

Naruto, Kakashi, Guy, and Bee watch as gedo maza continues to crack as tobi stands there still in a handsign.

Tobi thinking: "This is it. Very shortly the plan will finally come to fruition."
Naruto: "We gotta stop him now!"
Kakashi: "There is nothing we can do."
Kyubi: "You are not gonna believe this but I can hear the other bijuu from within gedo maza. They say there is a way to destroy it now but we have to move fast before gedo maza's defenses go back up."
Naruto: "I have a way to stop this now. Im taking it!"
Kakashi: "Naruto! Stop!"

Naruto charges headlong and transforms into bijuu mode. Naruto jumps up and disappears into the mouth of gedo maza. The mouth of gedo maza slams shut.

Kakashi: "No!!

Naruto finds himself within gedo maza in a very dark chamber. Naruto suddenly starts to give off a glow that lights up the chamber revealing tons of faces and bodies strung up along the walls. Slowly several limbs with hands reach out and try to grab at naruto who seems very nervous.

Voice: "Its too late. You should not have come for us. Now you must join us!"
Kyubi: "Do not listen to them! That is gedo maza talking through them! Stay away from them!"
Voice: "You must join us! Join us!"
Kyubi: "Over there! Thats what tobi threw in!"

Naruto rushes over and notices the hands reaching for the jug. Naruto hits one of the arms with a rasengan which causes the others to back away as naruto moves the jug away from them.

Naruto: "What is this? This is what was so important we had to go in here?"
Kyubi: "This jug is not what it seems. If we destroy it now we may yet still have a chance."
Naruto: "Alright here we go!"

Naruto slams a rasengan into the jug causing it to crack and shatter releasing a massive amount of energy and mist that floods the room causing all the hands to retreat and the faces on the walls to react in terror. As the mist clears naruto sees Samui and Atsui who are both looking around in surprise at their surroundings.

Atsui: "Where are we? Is this hell?"
Samui: "I don't think so. Its too cold."
Naruto: "You are inside gedo maza. I have freed you from that jug."

Naruto points to the fragments. Naruto hears two voices and then two other figures appear from out of the mist.

Kinkaku: "Where are we Genkaku?"
Genkaku: "I don't know."
Atsui: "Oh no! Not those two again."

Samui and Atsui prepare like they are ready for a fight as kinkaku and Genkaku prepare likewise. Naruto face palms and then stands inbetween the two of them.

Naruto: "Right now you four are inside a giant creature that is trying to devour your souls in order to create the juubi. Now is not the time to be fighting each other."

A hand grabs kinkaku who reacts with fear as the hand tries to pull him towards the wall. Genkaku reacts fear as he sees it reach for him as well. Naruto rushes over and hits the arm holding kinkaku with rasengan causing it to let go.

Kinkaku: "Thanks whoever you are."
Samui: "We can save introductions for later. For now this is naruto. Now what do we need to do naruto?"
Naruto: "I will let the kyubi speak since its knows what we need to do."
Kinkaku and Genkaku: "?!!"

Naruto transforms into tailed beast form and looks at them.

Kinkaku thinking: "So that boy is the kyubi's jinchuriki?!"
Kyubi: "The bijuu trapped within have yet to be devoured completely yet by gedo maza however they can not help us but they are able to communicate with me so I know what we must do. Gedo maza's heart is close by and its unprotected since all its efforts now seem to be on attempting to absorb the 8 tails tentacle over there. Once it is done it will focus on us but if we can destroy its heart the beast will die right here right now."

Naruto powers up a rasenshuriken with two kyubi arms and tosses it at one of the walls causing a huge hole to be ripped through revealing a long hallway. The blast continues to travel a great distance as the others look on in surprise. Naruto changes back into normal mode.

Naruto: "Follow me!"

Naruto runs down the hall as Atsui and Samui run after him.

Kinkaku: "Should we follow them or try to get out of here?"
Genkaku: "I don't know kinkaku but I do know that kid definately has a plan. Lets see what he is gonna do."

Naruto stops as he tries to catch his breath and the others stop near him.

Naruto: "Something isn't right. Gedo maza can't possibly be this big."
Samui: "We must be under some kind of genjutu."
Atsui: "But where is it coming from and what is casting it?"
Naruto: "I got an idea."

Naruto closes his eyes and Genkaku looks at naruto's face. Suddenly naruto eyes open and his face changes as he is in sage mode. Genkaku jumps back in surprise as he reacts to seeing naruto in sage mode. Naruto looks at the wall and then smiles.

Naruto: "So you thought you could hide it from us eh? Eyes like these see everything gedo maza including this."

Naruto slams his fist into the wall causing the wall to blast away revealing what looks to be part of a giant pulsating heart. The others react with shock as they all stare at the heart.

Naruto: "Everyone start destroying the walls with whatever weapons you have but no chakra jutsus. We do not know how gedo maza will react to using chakra near its heart."

They all start attacking the walls with kunai and swords as naruto attacks at the wall as well. Naruto smiles as he looks at the exposed heart which pulsates with each second. Suddenly gedo maza screams and the walls rip away revealing them all floating in mid air and the heart hanging by several veins which seem to be pulsating chakra energy.

Naruto: "Alright. Time to give gedo maza a serious heart attack. Everyone attack the heart directly."

Gedo maza screams in panic and pain as Tobi suddenly reacts with a gasp.

Kakashi: "What is going on inside there?"
Bee: "It looks like naruto is giving gedo maza a bad case of heart burn."

Naruto looks at the heart which seems to have very little damage and notices a spot where light is showing. Naruto looks up and sees in the distance a hole with blue sky in the distance.

Naruto: "Gedo maza is weakened enough that a way out is appearing. You all head out as fast as you can. I have one final thing to do. This is gonna take a very powerful attack to destroy this heart."

Samui and Atsui rush up while kinkaku and Genkaku stay behind.

Kinkaku: "So what exactly is your name boy?"
Naruto: "Naruto Uzimaki.
Genkaku: "Than lets end this thing together Naruto. Those two are not like us. They do not have the power to end such a beast. Ready?"
Naruto and Kinkaku: "Ready!"

They all three switch into tailed beast form and start attacking the heart in tailed beast form. Gedo maza screams in agony as its heart begins to violently rupture as the heart breaks apart. Suddenly an explosion of light occurs as gedo maza explodes causing a massive explosion that sends everyone flying. As the smoke clears Tobi stands up and looks at the blast crater full of gedo maza fragments. Naruto stands in the center of the crater with kinkaku and genkaku which seem to be slowly fading away. Naruto looks up at Tobi who actually seems to be shaking as naruto has a very stern look on his face.

Naruto: "Now that leaves only you to deal with Tobi!"

Nice predictions this week; I usually don't get to read all of them. It always seem as though mine are so short nowadays.

Jean's prediction reminds me of a recent Berserk Chapter, where Guts was inside the Sea God looking to take it down from the inside. I enjoy the prediction, as a story, but I don't think Kishi would rid Tobi of his most potent tool this early/quickly.

I disagree. If the juubi is summoned than it pretty much bring the series crashing to an end since the juubi is far stronger than all the other bijuu combined and naruto even with all the power he has is no where near rs level so its doubtful he has the power to beat something that big. Unless kishi wants to end the series in less than 10 chapters from now its likely that gedo maza has to be destroyed soon. Even without it Tobi still has plenty of things left he can pull out of his hat not to mention there is also madara and that funky scroll. I doubt we are gonna see the full on juubi getting summoned or tobi becoming its jinchuriki. That makes little to any real sense storywise to do at this point.

Naruto chapter 593.... Reunion of sensei and student:

*Sasuke is glaring at kabuto*

Suigetsu: "what do you mean... there is something you have to do?"

Sasuke: "back when I encountered naruto in Orochimaru's hideout... I was able to enter his mind and see the power that lives within naruto... the kyuubi".

Suigetsu: "that naruto kid huh... no wonder he beat with the power of the kyuubi. Still, what does this have to do with Orochimaru?".

Sasuke: "You see kabuto there... he is using Orochimaru's power the same way naruto uses the kyuubi... I should be able to go into kabuto's mind while he is trapped in Izanami and find where Orochimaru is... then finally find the truth... about my clan and konoha...".

Juugo: "Is he really in there... so thats what you meant by him still being alive then".

Sasuke: "yes... the original Oro was stabbed with the sword of totsuka and sealed forever... however, like a bijuu, Orochimaru lives on through thos who use his power like kabuto here or this women".

Juugo: "I do not sense anymore of Orochimaru within her... judging by her current position and kabuto's abilities... kabuto extracted whatever power of Oro's she had in order to better use his Edp Tensai jutsu... Meaning kabuto is the sole user of Oro's power now and Oro's last chance of rebirth...".

Juugo thinking too himself: "we have to kill him now before Oro takes him over and is reborn to terrorize the world once again."

*juugo goes CS2 mode and charges at kabuto*

Suigetsu: "Do it juugo".

*Sasuke uses shushin to get infront of kabuto forcing juugo to stop his attack*

Suigetsu: "Amazing... even at CS2 juugo will not harm sasuke due to his promise to Kimimarro".

Sasuke: "Stop Juugo... I have to do this... for the truth...".

*Juugo's CS recedes and he goes back to normal*.

Sasuke: "thank you juugo".

Juugo thinking: "thank you??? Sasuke has never been like this since I met him. Something must have happened to change him like this...

*Sasuke uses his SG and enters kabuto's mind... Its a dark room with juugo, karin and suigetsu in small cages...*

Sasuke thinking: "SO there is the power of my comrades... but where is Oro..?".

*Sasuke walks further into a dark dungeon where kidomaru, tayuya, sakon, Jirobo and Kimimarro are chained to the wall...*

Sasuke: "to think kabuto had so much different peoples power residing within him... These are the same people who brought me to Orochimaru... and that must be kimimarro.. I probably should not tell juugo...".

*sasuke keeps walking until he is in a throne room with a kings thone... but it is empty... Suddenly a voice sound out above the throne*

Voice: "Hahaha... we now... look who came for a visit..."

*Sasuke looks up to see Orochimaru pinned to a large trophy above the throne*

Sasuke: "So there you are you bastard..."

Oro: "Aweeee my dear sasuke... my most precious student... Hahahaha, there is only one reason I can think of that you would seek me out... You found my scroll... didn't you... But thats not all... you must of learned the truth about the masked man who has been guiding you... that he is not madara..."

Sasuke: "Yes... my brother showed me his memory and in it the masked man was believed to be madara even by my own brother... and to find out my brother gave his life again to stop kabuto's edo tensai, but somehow madara's is still active...".

Oro: "SO thats where kabuto went... hahaha... you or itachi must have put him in a genjutsu and now this body has no king to control it... what an opportunity.".

Sasuke: "Enough... who is this masked man and what happened with konoha and my clan.. whats the truth".

Oro thinking:"So kabuto managed to Edo madara huh... not even I could do that... he must have done it... he found Ryuuchudou and mastered the senjutsu by incorporating juugo's bloodline limit into himself... Ha, i had a similar plan, but sasuke was going to be the perfect body for me to master Dragon senjutsu though...".

oro: "If I tell you the truth... you have to set me free... so I can become king of this body...".

Sasuke: "If its what it takes... then deal... tell the truth about the village and ... about my clan too".

Oro: "Hahaha, how wonderful... for merely telling you the truth I get to be reborn in a dragon sage body...".

Oro thinking: "learn the truth boy... because once I gain kabuto's body I will absorb you and gain the Sage of six paths power...".

Oro: "The truth... the truth... the village is like anyother,,, it has its kage who controls the village and its military... then there is the other side of the village... and in konoha that side would be the Organization root...".

Sasuke: "That bastard danzou's group..".

Oro: "that the one... I worked with danzou secretly for a long time... and in exchange for offering me so many shinobi to experiment on... I used my knowledge to implant hashirama's cells in danzou's right arm... and attacked the village to assasinate the 3rd Hokage and the shinobi under him so danzou could become Hokage...".

Sasuke: "What... danzou was responsible for your attack on the village three years ago...?!?!"

Oro: "That he was... and don't get all high and mighty about conspiracy uchiha... your clan also assisted danzou in the destruction of the leaf, freeing the kyuubi and killing the 4th Hokage too...".

Sauske: "No... thats impossible!".

Oro: "Sorry, its the truth... danzou confronted the uchiha years before the actual attack... in exchange for taking down the konoha hierarchy... danzou would give the uchiha clan back their pride... he would take an uchiha child and implant hashirama's cells in order to produce an uchiha/senju hybrid with SG powers not seen since madara uchiha... but he would have to serve danzou as well as the uchiha though".

Sasuke: "to serve both the clan and danzou... and a Hybrid".

Oro: "yes... I too experimented with hashirama's cells and implanted them in many children... but only one survived... the shinobi Yamato you fought at my hie out...".

sasuke: "Him... But what about the uchiha hybrid... did he survive...".

Oro: "of course... and you even know him personally...".

Sasuke: "Who was it... wait... was it...".

Oro: Yes... Uchiha Shisui... haha, how do think he had different chakra then other uchiha with SG abilities beyond anything even your own brother could produce...".

sasuke: "So that was shisui's secret to his power... And it was danzou who planned the attack on konoha using the uchiha to free the kyuubi and kill the 4th Hokage... but wait... then that means the massacre...".

Oro: "ahahah, so you are finally figuring it out... Yes, it was danzou who orchestrated the uchiha coup detat in order to have them eliminated so danzou could not be implicated for the attack eight year prior...".

Sasuke: "That bastard... it was him all along".

Oro: "not exactly... danzou made the decision to eliminate the uchiha after the hybrid uchiha no longer would work for danzou...".

Sasuke: "you mean shisui.. right".

Oro: "yes... shisui worked for danzou the whole time... he even went so far as to create emotionless ninja to ally with danzou... by controlling the 4th Mizukage... creating the bloodmist village... However, shisui began to recent his clan and even the village itself... he was unhappy with world that created him to be nothing, but a tool to realize someone else's ideals... he broke off from root and the uchiha because he wanted to realize his own ideals..."

Sasuke: "Wait what are you saying... I saw shisui in itachi's memory... he lost an eye to danzou then gave his other to my brother... then choose to die silently".

Oro: "Is that how it happened... U know... in strategy it is said you have to fool your friends to fool the enemy... so that is what shisui did... he gave one eye to danzou in order to be free from root and have danzou keep his secret... then gave the other to itachi because he would never be able to use it for a decade as well as keep it secret from the world...."

Sasuke: "Then what are you saying about shisui Oro... is he..?"

Oro: "Hahaha, shisui still lives today... he was the one who helped itachi massacre the clan then only as a true best friend would do... made a deal not to touch you or the village as long as itachi lived..."

Scene cuts to Tobi with a close up showing shisui's 4 tomoe Ninja star MS in his right eye along with nagato's RG in his left...

(Sasuke is speechless to hear the truth... Next chapter: Orochimaru tells the truth of madara after his fight with hashirama... and tobi is revealed..)

But the Juubi isn't perfect, not by a long shot. Sure, it'll be a force, however, there's still the Hachibi and Naruto's semi perfected Bijuu Mode (which crippled multiple Bijuu). Tobi is being pressured (which happened offscreen unfortunately), he appears as though he needs this to equalize the state of battle. It's a last resort, meaning, he's not going according to plan; which required the Hachibi and the Kyuubi.

This is what I predict will happen, Since Madara is so fond of testing his power and is heading to Naruto, It will be a complete version susano'o vs juubi. Upon seeing juubi infront of him, he will be tempted to test his power on juubi. He will realized that instead of taking the kyuubi, why not the Juubi as a new pet?

Makes sense for madara to test the reputation of his perfect sasanoo as "the sasanoo that surpasses even the bijuu"... against the ultimate bijuu, the juubi...
However, tobi made it clear the juubi will be incomplete... not at full power without the hachibi and kyuubi's full power...

I think you all are just not getting the scope of this. The juubi is so powerful that even a godlike shinobi like rikudou senin was still taxed to the very limit just to defeat it. Then lets not forget those fragments. The tentacle isnt much but kin and gin brothers had massive amounts of kyubi chakra within them. That much chakra alone should account for a good share of kyubi chakra. With all thoe I would say the juubi is probably at least 85% complete which is more than enough for it to easily defeat anyone currently within the shinobi world. Even madara may have trouble with the juubi as even at his full power he is probably no where near rikudou senin's level so it seems like kishi is more likely to have gedo maza destroyed before the juubi can be unleashed.

I don't really want to bring this up now, but it does seem that my prediction about the kyuubi being half the juubi's full power might be true...

The kyuubi matched the power of 5 bijuu jean... that means his power really is likely half the juubi's whole power... So, with the juubi not having its other half (the kyuubi) it will be weakened enough for naruto to take it on... it will be more like another kyuubi, just as a humanoid bijuu not a fox....

First I suspect the incomplete revival of the juubi will allow naruto and Bee to hold it off, but bee ends up getting captured... then the juubi will build up enough power to surpass the kyuubi and maybe even find a way to be reborn through the regeneration of the kyuubi's power within the gedo mazo...

However, when all hope is lost... the kyuubi informs naruto that his special chakra has regenerated all 6 of the bijuu who gave him chakra allowing for the kyuubi to inherit the other 6 bijuu's power creating another ten tailed beast... (however without shukaku it will be incomplete)

So 8 bijuu juubi vs 7 bijuu kyuubi... however, u have to remember that the kyuubi is about half the juubi's power so the kyuubi should gain more power with one less bijuu...

The kyuubi didn't match the power of 5 bijuu.

If you read the manga properly you know that the bijuu bomb of the kyuubi just put the other 5 bijuu bombs to another place to explode. It didn't match the same power...

Here's a thought, if Tobi's controlling the Whole Word Justsu thingy he's been trying, wouldn't that include the Upgraged Alive Madara? I don't think he would like being a lackey, additionally I don't think he'd be happy with a Jyuubi on the battlefield, I'd think we'd see Ultimate Susanno attempt to take the beast out, Just Cause he wants his small piece of the beast Kyuubs back.

I agree that the Juubi is the end all beast, but the version Tobi intends to summon is handicapped coming into this battle. We don't know how much of the Kyuubi's presence accompanied within Ginkaku and Kinkaku amounts to. Naruto has the Yang portion of the Kyuubi, there's not enough evidence to suggest that Tobi an equal portion of the Kyuubi's chakra. Secondly, the Juubi is pretty much missing the entirety of the Hachibi, the second strongest Bijuu.

The Juubi the six realm's sage fought was at 100%. The number of tails dictates how powerful each Bijuu is. Ichibi is weaker than Nibi, while the Nibi is weaker than the Sanbi, etc. The Hachibi and Kyuubi obviously take up a greater portion of that 100%. Naruto, in his Bijuu Mode, owned 5 fully synced hosts, which are much more dangerous that 5 Bijuu (since the hosts are able to channel and use the Bijuu's power logistically).

I would be more inclined to agree with you if Tobi had the Hachibi to add to the Juubi, but he doesn't even have that much. I'm not doubting that the Juubi is going to rattle Naruto and Bee, backing them into a wall of sorts. Just that Tobi's Juubi as it stands now, offers at least, some breathing room.

Yes I am agreeing with Special and KYF on this. The Juubi will NOT be at full power. and yes the 9 tails Jink DID defeat the 2-7 tailed jinks. whether he defected the Bijuu bombs with his or destroyed them doesn't matter, he defeated them.

It has always been said that the Kyuubi was more powerful than all of the others (8 tails included), makes sense that without him the Juubi is a couple quarts low of a full tank.

think about it there is NO one tails in the Edo Tensei, a portion of a tail from 8 tails, and two humans that have some fox chakra flowing through them.
those substitutes do not make up for the 8 tails and Kurama. plus the absence of the One tail is important.

I used to think it was inside Sasuke without him knowing it.

And seeing as how the kyuubi's bijuudama was not repelled by the combined five bijudama, but canceled out and both repelled... its not hard to understand why.... power of 5 bijuu=kyuubi.... meaning he is likely half the juubi's full power.

And I know... but the tails dictate the level of power each one has... Not sound logic... The orignal had ten tails yet created nine more bijuu each with a number of tails even greater... not nine biju each with one tail...
Not to mention that there is no way that 1tail kyuubi form naruto=full shukaku mode gaara in power... the tails do not seem to be be a measurement of exact power... case and point 8tails hachibi vs tails son goku...
