Having not seen the film yet, I was really looking forward to this and needless to say this was fantastic, Z was such an awesome character.

The scene in the club when there gathering information did anyone else find it super creepy when the Captain guy asked Nami (chibi form ) to come with him ? I mean WTF ?!

But yes the whole the whole movie was just awesome cant even name my fav parts as there was so many, especially the ending Z way out was so epic.

Z gave Luffy some punishment, btw did you see the list that he trained, from Aokiji, Smoker, Redhead Mowhawk Swordsman Vice Admiral, and a bunch more including Borsaline.
One would think his crew woulda had better than a Broad that steals age, 2 daggers and 2 guns; and a quick plant maker.

Dude was a monster, he shouldn't have ever been allowed on land with other civilized human beings, the economic cost for one of his rages without the 'End Point Pink Killers', would be astronomical. He was like the Hulk with a little more mentality (very little), and a few extra techs with the Arm/Gun, and Armament Haki.

One question... to me the 'Tekken' shit that CP-9, and the Vice Admiral used in this movie is one of the lamest moves ever. Once the user spends so much time and energy 'preparing' to get hit, who's the fuck to say that more ain't coming? Ask Lucci, he tried before that Gattling Asswhuuping he took. No offense in a fight means your going to fucking lose, thats simple math.

Who else was there to recruit ? He hated the Marines as much as he hated pirates. He could only rely on those who left with him and were crazy enough to enact his plan.

I disagree completely. It's a beastly move, that Marine captain that went up against Z gambled and lost. Lucci was able to take a colossal amount of punishment from Luffy because of Tekkai. In fact Luffy's base attacks weren't doing shit to Lucci's Tekkai, and by that point Luffy was powerful enough to displace entire city blocks with storm gatling.

Vergo took a bunch of kicks from Sanji and cracked his shin bone with Tekkai. Sanji, the guy who can kick buildings like soccer balls. It's all about the user.

Thats my point about Tekken, CP-9 Dudes were saying they were this or that level masters, but Lucci couldn't tell on the final Gattling at Gear 2nd, because it has a time limit one can hold seemingly. Great if your a super master, if not, that shit will get one crushed is my only point. It is a great move to turn ones body part into something equivalant of iron/steel, ya just better have some longevity, chakra, or something to maintain it.

There is no time limit on Tekkai. Tekkai is nothing more than flexing your muscles when bracing for an attack with a superhuman twist on it. It's not an infallible defense, if the opponent has enough striking power he/she can break Tekkai.

Blueno was able to take a kick from Sanji with no difficulty when he was holding the train cabins together on the way to EL, but the second Sanji built up some centrifugal force to increase the striking force of the kick Blueno almost blacked out.

Lucci got taken out by Luffy's jet gatling because of the accumulated damage he took through out the entire fight. His legs even failed him for a moment before that last attack.

I would agree with Neo in this situation. I think against someone like Z, who is clearly a powerhouse fighter like Garp, Tekkai wouldn't be the best choice to use. If you know the guy you're fighting is an ex-admiral, and your not, then chances are his strength is gonna be far superior to whatever defense you can put up. Z was beating down giants for crying out loud. Some random dude (wasn't even a vice-admiral) with Tekkai is going to bet beat down, and did.

I'd much rather go with Kami-e to avoid the attack and then try to counter.


@Neo- Maybe those soldiers he was training were just noobs, who hadn't been there for long. Regardless Z got fucked hard, so they wouldn't stand a chance anyway. Just look at Smoker's men. Those guys are experienced veterans stationed in the NW, and they got swatted like flies by Donflamingo.
