not a bad suggestion, i actually wrote a short fanfiction entry a few pages back that was built around that question. never finished it though, maybe some fresh ideas would change that.

As for the topic: I tink Kakashi would be a lot less strong, maybe still the same person he was all those years ago.
The plot of the story would be decreased and changed alot

uuugh That would make Kakashi a lot less stronger, because Kakashi became the copy ninja with the Sharingan and also he would have never finished Chidori-Raikiri (whichever) because it was an imcomplete jutsu before the addage of a Sharingan. Btw, nice topic lol

Kakashi without Raikiri... I wouldn't really want to imagine that...
And his sharingan makes him look really cool... No way I want to see him without that again (except when they finally decide to air the gaiden, then I'll be glued to the screen)

yea the sharingan is definitely the only reason that kakashi is capable of using chidori/raikiri...i think he would've become strong on his own given his father's reputation before he died though. to be honest, i think that the sharingan has probably hindered his growth some since he's relied on it so much. i only say that because his father was supposed to have been honored on the same level as the sannin and kakashi is strong but not nearly that close to sannin level.

well that's true, but if you've got a technique like that it's rather easy to start relying on it more...

yeah I would rely on the Sharingan so much, I'd end up in a hospital bed just like Kakashi always does after too much Sharingan use

He was considered a genius when he was about Naruto (after time skip) and became a Jounin to boot. Even without the Sharingan I think that Kakashi would have developed into a strong ninja like he is now. He would have probably thought of a way to complete Raikiri without it too.
