Boring chapter. Looks like Thorfinn is playing the decoy, while Einar help them escape. This seems kinda predictable.

The wounded guy will regain consciousness and use Einar to help him and Arnies escape. Once he's well hidden and his wounds have healed for a few day, he'll try to kill Einar to erase any witnesses. Arnies will be torn between which side to take. While this is happening Snake will pretend to chase after Thorfinn, and make it seem like he lost him. Thorfinn thinking he got away clean will go to look for Einar and company, with Snake following a safe distance behind. When Thorfinn finally finds his friend Gardar is in the middle of making his attack on Einar. Thorfinn jumps in to stop him. A few minutes later Snake shows up and he, Thorfinn, and Gardar have a 3 way showdown. Arneis (being the stupid bitch she is) will blurt out that she's pregnant with that other Ketil guys baby, which send Gardar crazy. About that time Ketil shows back up from his trip. Gardar seeing him in the distance will hold his blade to Arnies throat, and run to the dock to meet him. Snake won't give a shit and might try to kill them both and be done with it, but Einar and Thorfinn won't let him. This sets up a final confrontation and the peer when the rest of Snake's men finally arrive as well.

The revelation that Canute's invasion force is on the way will be the catalyst that throws everything into chaos. I may even polarize the events, with Gardar joining forces with Ketil's men (assuming he lives through the previous events). Thorfinn will regain his fighting instincts again as well, even if he's against killing. This will make him even more like his father. I can't wait until Thorfinn and Canute meet again. Or better yet, Thorkell. It's gonna be EPIC!!!
