I didn't really like the fact they added the Sasuke scene. It was such a climactic point in the manga. I was on the edge of my seat when I was reading it. I swear my heart was pounding. But the animators just put it right out. No suspense, no heart beating, no anything. Personally I wished they followed the manga on that. It would have been so cool. Did anyone notice Sai's skin color. It was like he was a vampire or the animators forgot to color him. TOO PALE. Also did anyone else notice how many times they said nostalgic or nostalgia. I swear I'm sick of the word now.

Yeah, I also noticed the the fact that they used the world nostalgic a lot but then again the entire scene was ironic, Konohamaru and his friends chasing down that cat was the same mission that Sakura, Sasuke and Naruto had when they first became Genin. When Naruto and Sakura went to fight Kakashi on that training ground with the three poles, their objective was to get the bells from Kakashi; brought back memories. The whole episode was had irony but yeah. I didn't mind much that they added the Sasuke scene in the beginning. I thought that was a good way to bring you back to Naruto after a year or so of fillers. You have to remember that not everyone read the manga so a lot of people were pretty happy to finally see Sasuke. Plus, it's not like they spoiled anything, we already know that Naruto and Sakura have been training for three years to get Sasuke back and as for as the people who don't read the manga know, they don't know who that other character (Sai) is. It was freaking awesome nonetheless.

Yeah I agree. I think that the intro was hot, it through me off a little though. I'm losing my patience waiting for the next one to come out. I watched that episode many, many times already. It was good to see how they paralleled thing to events in part I.

The third episode wasn't full of story plot but it followed that manga pretty well. I just loved the part when Sakura smashed the hell out of the ground and Kakashi was like, "what the hell!". Naruto's and Kakashi's face were priceless! Can't wait for the fourth episode next week, we finally get to see some Gaara action against Deidara. Gaara looks way cool older. His face is longer and thinner and he is about as tall as Naruto and his gourd is also bigger too. I still want to see the rest of the gang as well.

man the episodes are moving really slow, they are keeping pace with the manga, 3 episode is at the same spot as 3 manga, way to many flashbacks. OH and i love the music when they show a aka member

If you look at the colored pages of 337, Sai is freakishly pale.

My two favorite parts of episode 3 was when Sakura hit the ground (obviously, the reactions were priceless) and when Naruto went for the dropped bells. Most people are probably like, "What!? Naruto going after the bells wasn't that funny."
When he went after them, I groaned and said, "Naruto is a complete idiot." Then when the buushin disappeared, I started laughing thinking I'M the idiot. I was hoping they would finish their fight in this episode so we could focus on the fight between Gaara and Deidara next time. Oh well. It's gonna be so cool.
Now that it has been established that Sai was not forgotten by animators and that he actually is that freakishly pale, all I have to say is...he's a vampire or Danzo locked him in a closet his entire life.

I agree, Sakura's smashy-smash is so kick as; animated it's even better!

I love that it's like this. Flashbacks aren't the greatest part of the story, but they are useful and help improve our chances of less fillers in the future. ^^ And I'd take canon flashbacks over terribly animated and terribly written fillers (though some were better than others, I think, but the over all feeling from them is.... please... no, not again! lmao).


Yep. I knew this but when I saw him, I had to blink. XD I'll get used to it though. XD
