Ok, so I have watched the first ten episodes of this series and I finding that I'm taking back a lot of the things I've said about this series before it initially started airing on TV. It's actually not bad and I find myself wanting to see more. It kinda has a Mobile Suit Gundam 0079 vibe to it. I can say that I've actually seen worse, and by that I mean Gundam SEED Destiny. It's still a bit difficult to take this series 100% serious considering that the animation style reminds me of Astroboy but that doesn't really bother me anymore. I know there are some Gundam fans here and would suggest watching this if you got nothing else going on.

I would say I am a Gundam fan and I wont lie when i heard about this series I thought I'll watch the trailer or something and as you said the animation wasnt really that good I mean compare that to Gundam 00 which was the last series I watched (( Dont know if I want to watch Unicorn ))

I am tempeted though because whenever I go on Animefreak or Anime Crazy I always see that its actually quite far in episodes wise so thats gotta mean that its doing well. Its the Gundams actually good ? And from the brief episodes you have watched have you got a good feel of the story like is it worth it and show some potential too be good ?

Well, they are doing a generational theme where the story follows the life of the Asuno family starting with Flit, then his son, then his grandson. Now that I think about it, its kinda similar to Robotech. The story itself is getting interesting from what I've seen so far. The only thing that's unsettling honestly is just the animation. I don't like the other mobile suits though, besides the Gundam (which is ok) and a modified WMS-GEX1 series mobile suit (which kinda looks like a Gundam with similar stats). I have only seen the first ten episodes so I'm not sure if mobile suits will improve over time.

I will say this, I'm not hating it. It's not the worst Gundam series made. I think it takes getting used to.

I see usually with animes I see how many episodes there are and I say to myself right watch the first 5 or 10 and hopefully there will be one of those episodes that introduces something that makes you want to watch more. I guess I'll give it a chance for the first 10 eps. Although finishing Tenjo Tenge first very awesome anime.

Tenjou Tenge is a fun series. Not gonna lie. The anime's OP got me interested in the show. lol

As for Gundam Unicorn, dude, it's awesome! I've only seen the first two and man is it great. I haven't seen the rest because I'm waiting for the sixth episode to get animated. The Unicorn OVA series is only six episodes long that's why so I'm gonna marathon it once the last episode comes out.

So I've basically caught up with AGE and I think I can give an official opinion on the series thus far. It's pretty damn good story wise. It follows a familiar formular that is seen in Gundam 0079, Zeta, and ZZ all rolled up into one series. I'm still not sold on the animation and the mobile suit designs could have been better. The Gundam designs are pretty good for all three generations. My favorite, however, being the Gundam AGE-3 AGE-FX. The mobile suits for the Earth Federation faction was pretty weak up until the third generation of the series. As for the opposing forces faction mobile suits....meh. The Draconic designs feels out of place from the Gundam universe.

I'd go into more details but don't want to spoil it for you if you're going to watch it. But yeah, overall its a solid series and worth watching. It'll definitely grow on you.
