Vorg vs Ricardo? What a joke Vorg is going to get slaughtered. I mean what's the point of using Vorg for this. Vorg got defeated by not one but two Japanese fighters who weren't really known(at the time) on the world stage & we're supposed to believe that he's suddenly ranked 1st in the world after like two fights? I call bullshit. I think it's safe to say that Ricardo will never lose in this series. Yes I'm saying at the end of the manga he'll beat Ippo's ass.

Vorg isn't fighting Ricardo. They're in different weight classes. Ricardo (and Ippo) are featherweights, while Vorg moved up one class to Jr. lightweight after losing to Ippo.

So Vorg does have a chance.

I do think Ippo will lose to Ricardo. It simply has to happen for Ippo's character development. Ippo has yet to have a real fight where his will has been completely broken. Even after losing to Date he got a pep talk and pat on the back. He need's Ricardo to put him in his place, and actually hospitalize him for a while. Then he can go through the all the motions like Date did, but come actually come in on top the 2nd time.

Also the story has to drag out some more. Takamura isn't even close to achieving his 6 titles (which I doubt he'll get anyway). That's why we need an arc of ippo losing and having to go back up the ranks again.
