Alright chapter could have been better

Now, if I were to grade this as a stand alone chapter It would actually score high. After the nakama bs of the last one this new info on things to come looks very interesting. Going by Levi's narration a lot of people died ( Maybe even Gajeel ), and the discovery of the graveyard is probably tied to it.

Did anyone else think Skyrim when they saw it ?

Dead dragons, then big destruction...Shit Aldu-eh Acnologia is coming back and raising those motherfuckers !!!

Lost to destiny could mean that the DSs lose to the dragons initially, so this eclipse thing suddenly looks like salvation. With that said, Hiro has a horrific track record with delivering on set ups, so I'll curb my expectations a lot to prevent feeling trolled later on.

EDIT: One more thing. I'll go out on a limb and say that this woman is a surviving FT member that went back in time or some shit. She was crying after seeing Natsu on the monitor which could mean that Natsu and other FT members die on the 7th. Just think terminator and you'd get the gist of my theory. Sound crazy right ? But hey, this is FT.

Quite an interesting chapter.

I was very surprised whe Gajeel found the Dragon graveyard, just to be on the safe side did anyone get a head count on how many were there ? I have a feeling its the bones of both Stings and Rouges dragons. Perhaps the stadium is over were they fought / killed there dragon parents ?


And yeah I do think the girl in the cloak is definately a FT member went back inn time (( Something i hope wont come into play too much )) I think its LEvi or Lucy, but leaning towards Levi more.

I'm with Dag. Even a chapter in the sequence, this chapter was pretty good, especially for advancing the story.

I'm guessing the woman is Mavis. Been several hints at ties to Zeref.

My first guess for the girl's identity was Lucy, but considering Gerard's reaction, maybe Wendy? I don't know if Gerard has ever met Levy. Another possibility would Erza, though so far the body type is completely wrong. Anyone think it could be someone from Edolas? On another note it sounds like the next chapter takes place in Dragon Land.

I hope Levy's remarks isn't all we get of the final Tournament battle though Mashima has set an unfortunate precedent.

I'm thinking on the final day of battle, as the battle royale is going on, the Dragons appear and annihilate everyone. Something is probably going to happen to the DSs, who eventually save everyone's asses.

Going with future Lucy, too. How much you want to bet we get everyone dying but someone from the future travels back to save everyone so they don't? Time paradox in which everyone ends up surviving. Ugh. It's like a bad episode of Star Trek.

But we'll see.

I'm thinking the girl Jellal sees might be future Wendy. Lucy is presumed dead by Levi, which is why she is narrating everything, and the dragons seem like they'll be playing a big role in the near future. So my theory is that Levi, Wendy, and possible a few others plus maybe Makarov survive and fine a way to send one person back in time to prevent the upcoming disaster.
