Which brings me to a different topic: I've done my part to try and get a more diverse readership going in this community. It's helped a little, but going to try again.

Open invitation to join a movement pushed by Vengeance, Kluang and Dagoro to read Magi. Another Shonen manga that's getting positive reviews and only up to Chapter 123 (so its not like trying to tackle something that's 600 plus). I'm trying to read at least 10 chapters a week so should be caught up by Christmas. If anyone is interested we can set up some threads by Volume to rehash thoughts as we get caught up.

And you missed the point. Willfully or otherwise. Is talking to anyone here like talking to a cop? A friend? A coworker? This isn't like discussing a topic. What you're saying is if you called me to show that your theory is correct when I don't know anything about Naruto then I'm not a good source. What I'M saying is like a jury. A group of neutral/people who don't know about a situation and are given facts about it. Would I be happy? Yes but not for me, but for KYF. It'd show he'd have some sense of self-preservation and common sense by leaving the forum if he can't help himself but to be so vitriolic with everyone else. For those defending KYF... I suggest you first man up to the facts, defend your own shaky foundation before jumping to someone else rescue. I can agree with Amuro's point, but for TITB and MU, go first and read up on every thread that KYF has created. READ it... not skim through it. Comprehend it with logic, based on sound facts provided by the manga. Then deliberate on KYF's response, which is based on nothing but mere conjecture at best. Conjecture that can only be formed in his mind through his own characteristic cognitive process. At times it is absurd beyond belief, but when used in the right approach through means like predictions, it is simply superb.

Nobody faults his thinking. It is really creative and even brilliant for consideration as hypothesis at best. It is only when he vehemently insists on conforming to them as fact, that others are inevitably rubbed the wrong way. Seriously, is that so difficult to understand?

One last thing, people build a reputation on forums over a due course of time. It is not instant. Any person with a satisfactory benchmark of cognitive functioning can comprehend things for himself. You don't see posts choosing one poster's opinion over the other. No one here goes, "Numinous is right and KYF is wrong". That would be ganging up. Just because an opinion is concurred upon doesn't imply that the opposite poster is being ganged upon. Majority doesn't equate to baseless oppressive domineering. 'Common sense' is deemed 'common' for a reason.

Like Num said, I don't know the facts. I'm not going to look through kyf's trillion posts when you could just give me the posts that you remember. Does it matter whether it's mere conjecture or not? As long as he has something to give it's enough. From what I've seen, he's given good proof for some parts but bad proof for others. And, I didn't agree with him. But does that mean I go all flame war on him like Vishnu, Num, kael, and AOT do? No. Also, if you realized, in the chapter 599 discussion I debated with him. I didn't insult him in any way and he didn't insult me in any way. That's how it would go if it weren't for the stubbornness of the people I pointed out above. The funny thing is, even though they hate him, they don't put him on their ignore list. It's like they're doing it for popularity and attention.

Are you really saying that no one gangs up on another on this forum? So all the kael-Num-Vishnu-AOT thanks to each other in literally every single post is just a coincidence and they all actually agree together?
