I dont think guy will die because there were lot of moments where he should esp of excess energy and yet he still survived (or kishi didnt kill him) so i dont think kishi wants him dead for some stupid reason.

Btw I just read the 2nd the most unconvincing battle victory after that useless irritating victory of Nami(a young girl that has never fought or killed a person) over ms double finger a trained and one of the top assassins in bq(an assassins guild), while nami walked away with 2 flesh wounds despite her opponents abilities.
Luffy's victory over noro noro beam guy. Luffy receives up to 100 punches and a direct bomb explosion and also receives giant flaming punches only to get up to end the battle in one punch(he landed about 4 punches the whole fight).

I write this because people complain about random power ups in naruto, which i also don't like but the way one piece was praised as a "benchmark " i thought i was going to read a serious, convincing plot no justuless manga, alas the king of plot dwells within its pages. It's a fun manga but it should not be taken seriously. I went in expecting too much, you hyper spoiled it for me. May be im just too old for that shit.

Miss DF heavily underestimated Nami, she even commented on how sorry she felt for Nami since the weapon Usopp made for her seemed useless at first. She paid a heavy price for that in the end. As for the injuries Nami took...you do know that in a fight you're supposed to do w/e it takes not to get hit right ?

Luffy had an island sized skull dropped on top of his body and took no damage. Him being rubber makes him nigh invulnerable to wide area blunt force attacks, so why is it surprising for him to survive Foxy's onslaught when Foxy can't generate no where near the forces Luffy had survived in the previous arcs ?

As for how many punches Luffy landed on Foxy, even Foxy knew how much stronger Luffy was in contrast to himself which is why he never engaged Luffy directly.

When people on this forum criticize Naruto or any other manga ( Yeah, we critic OP too ) they base it on sound logic backed by canon. Your opinions are just retarded since they obviously reveal your lacking knowledge of the material you are trying criticize. As for your opinion of the manga, that is fine, we all have different tastes, but when critiquing something you can't talk out of your ass which is what you just did.

But please dont defend nami's battle, there is a reason i mention ms D fingers was a trained assassin, she should not be missig over 50 attacks against nami, when she has defeated, im assuming, more powerful opponents.(how did she successfully assassinate anyone if she cant land a critical hit on{one} nami.)
You talk about being backed by canon yet you say because she steals from pirates she has battle skills, she never fought anyone till ms D fingers. She uses her mind, craftiness or negotiates with her navigational and mapping knowledge(arlong park).
She uses her mind not her fists to survive in the world of pirates.
How can you say you cant see anything strange in this; Nami who had not trained in canon or shown training or said to have ever trained in battle defeated an assassin on her own. If sakura defeated sasori on her own, people would probably call foul, even though she was said to have been trained in battle for about 3 years by an hokage(canon), but you see nothing strange in nami's fiight?

maybe you like the manga too much to accept the plot no jutsu or you read that part when you were younger.

Lol, look at Dagoro defending his precious OP. Let me tell you this bro - OP is far more nonsensical generally then Naruto is. It's just that OP was goofy to begin with and Naruto was not, so bad writing is easier to spot in Naruto. Also, fights in OP can't be taken seriously in 70% of the cases. It's like good guys get so much beating and then wind up winning, no suspension of disbelief would make it a good writing. Look at you trying to rationalize a kids manga, what a sad sight. HxH and Naruto battles are far better then the ones Oda has to offer. It's just that it's a real fun manga. As far as the characters go, OP beats all other Shounen by miles. Doesn't mean it doesn't have flaws.

I agree, i would not have complained if people weren't comparing th 2, it because of this i decided to read one piece thinking its a better version of naruto, but when i started reading, especially at grand line i immediately realized they were 2 absolutely different worlds.
I wrote those things so that people would agree that one piece is no any better at avoiding plot no jutsu or i be stronger because of me fredzz, since they were basically calling it perfect, it is a creative world(blew my mind, does oda also draw th backrounds?) with fun characters. But not perfect as they hyped.

You typed the words right out of my fingers. Now I can enjoy the manga knowing that im sane and im not the only one who see's it.

No, your post simply tries to rationalize something that has no real backbone at all. Durability of characters and generally fights in OP make no sense at all. The writer can do whatever he wants and it will never be called 'PNJ' or 'PIS'. Going by logic, Robin can break anyone's neck who isn't a logia, and that's not happening for some weird reason. Also, Zoro grew additional limbs and heads out of fucking nowhere. It's not an illusion, it's real limbs and shit. What? As I said, Oda can do whatever he wants and nobody will complain as much as everyone would want to shit in Kishimoto's kitchen because Kishimoto was more serious from the get go.

Oh yeah, when you mention Naruto being horrible main character, that's a cool point to One Piece again. In OP, you actually want to cheer for main chars in most of the cases and they are actually real likable, unlike Naruto's protagonists who are all horrible bar Kakashi (although he did have his era of being a moron as well: "Rinnegan is just a mutation!" etc).
