yeah the sting rays barb pierced him throught he heart. he was most likely killed instantly. and what he did was a total accident. he didnt deserve to die because of stupidity. But he did die because of it none the less. he would have noticed that huge a thing swimming up towards him. i just want to see the video the camera man was shooting while it happened. it would totally be interesting to be put up on the web.

I've only seen some of his shows, but I thought he was funny and a good person. I liked how he worked with his wife, and I hope his family pulls through. :/

Come on you guys, let's not be disrespectful. When someone dies there's no reason to mock them. ::sighs:: Steve put his life on the line, doing what he loved, with his own style and entertained people all over the world. That's my kind of guy.

For the last god damn time, it wasnt stupidity that killed him. Stingrays do not attack humans and they rarely sting even when a human accidently gets near them. Stingrays only kill, on average, one person a year, it was a freak accident that he died. Not to mention that even when you do get stung chances are it wont be fatal, but in his case he was just unlucky that it went through his heart.

He traveled around the world to explore nature and animals, DANGEROUS animals, animals that could rip your balls right off of your body before you have time to blink. He handled them with care and even when they attacked him he wouldn't get mad. And your standing there calling a legend stupid? U got no right to call a great man stupid.
