Re: Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin killed
Now I have to say this...
Don't hate on sting rays, they're beautiful creatures. Watching them swim is very elegant, in my opinion. And they rarely attack people, so its not like they kill daily. And I know Steve would never want people hating on such an exotic creature.

Re: Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin killed
It's sad to have lost such an amazing person. Steve Irwin was introduced to my family the day after we lost our youngest son. My oldest(2 at the time) wanted to watch t.v., and loved the Animal Planet channel. The first episode we watched was when Steve and Wes were cleaning out Agro's pen and moving him to a bigger one with Bindy.
From then on my son wouldn't want to watch anything else. We came and spent a couple of hours at night with him. My mother had come out to Hawaii after we put our youngest to rest. Foxx had to live with her in the family quarters on base. When my hubsand and I would come over we'd watch a couple of shows on regular tv and then spend time with the oldest one watching the "Croc Hunter". This australian family and zoo saved us a little each night and really helped us through a tough time. The oldest still watches the show today and we have given our sincerest condolences to Terry,Bindy and Robert. Steve was an amazing man who touched millions, either through his personality or his conservation work. Wildlife everywhere has lost a true hero. |

*sniffle*I can't imagine what his family is feeling right now. R.I.P. Stevo... R.I.P. I grew up watching him. I cried when he died. Yes, I'm a guy, and I feel a right to cry. *sniffle*
Maybe this is the way he would've wanted to die. Alongside sea creatures.

Re: Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin killed
I almost cried when I heard this.. At first I think it it was an another hoax made up by some people.. Then after I watch it at the TV, I felt like the world had lost something precious. u__u
I always thought of Steve as a Tokusatsu hero. Well.. Without the mask and special effect. No.. He did not fight evil robots or monsters. He just a live action hero. That is why I like about him. He is the reason why I love nature. At least he died while doing the thing that he love the most. Rest In Peace my friend... We will always remembers the good deeds that you have done in this world. Last word from me.. 'Crickey..'

Re: Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin killed
i was so sad when i heard bout it... i feel so upset when i think of his wife and kid, left behind... but the only good thing is that he died doing what he loves... but really, a sting ray sting? really very sudden and upsetting.. i would have thought he would die by say a crocodile bite or something, a sting ray sting is really so sudden..

Re: Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin killed
RiP.
I feal deeply for the family of steeve, I grewup with Croc files and that stuff, Without steeve, animal planet would have 2 viewers, but because of his outrageous antics and dialect many people tuned in to watch him, and i just don't understanmd how kids at my school can make fun of his death, because thats such a maliciouse act |

Re: Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin killed
Watched Crocodile Hunter Marathon in Animal Planet, taken from a couple of his serias deam most memorable or interesting, following his step from the beginning till the end, nearlly bring tears to my eyes. Because evry time in every show we can see how passionate he was toward conservation and the animal itself. Look at the way he treated all of the animal as if it is his best friend. He talked to evry animal he saw as if they can understand him, but that who he was. The series about the out take showed many candid shot that really show he was just a human. There are a few that nearlly brought tears to my eyes:
1. When he watched Bindi was born 2. He commamorate his film to his mother 3. A scene in 1 of the show where he hugged his father that was touching 4. Interview segment done by Animal Planet on his life, dream, and the future RIP dear Steve Irwin ( Crocodille Hunter ) may ur legacy lives on through Bindi Sue and Robert, your message will 4ever be remember by those who knew you, me included. Gosh I'm sure going to miss hearing him cried "Crikey" and "Crocs Rules"

Re: Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin killed
Only thing that left us something to remember his name is that, He who was probably the only animal lover who wanted to love animal for his own way, not like as he wanted to make the Crocodile Hunter for earn money like most of the animal stunter. I liked that guy, even though he got some crazy accent and weird of saying things. R.I.P Steve hope your in Heaven of animals were they treat you same as you treat the other animals. I would wish happiness to his beloved wife and poor little daughter.

Re: Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin killed
Poor guy. You sorta felt that he wasn't going to live long, because of all the crazy and dangerous things he did with animals. Even though, I really liked his happy spirit. It's sad that he left behind his wife and two small kids. Rest in peace, Steve!
