Help Urgent!
Hey,
Im Doing A School Speech About My Countries War History, i didnt pick it. i have to do it 4 five mins.. its hard enough that i have stage frieght.. its worst that i cant find out when the spain started to attack the phillipines how they treated the filipinos and the few traditions left tnow... so if you are filipino please help me and give me links that contain what i just said... or if ur not but u know a lot please help too... please please please please?

i dont think it's enough for your speech... anyways, there's lot of books about phil history. if u happen to brought one with you then good. phil. was exposed to outside world when magellan discovered the phils. but the recent history books tell us that it was not magellan who really discovered the phils. it's said that magellan's cousin and its troop were the first one to discover it. later magellan baptised the early filipinos, w/c were pagans, or if not, muslims. magellan built the fist catholic cross in the island of Masao in Butuan City. (i've been there.. the island has gone). then, the country was named after the Spanish king, King Phillip. the rest... too long to mention... u can also read about Jose Rizal. there are lots of stuff written about the Spanish deprivation on the Phils...
