For the topic, the story will be totally different. If that happen, the anime will end 10 times faster. If he have the eye, L is doom when they meet in the college, eventhough light is still unsure about his real identity. But the eye will shorten the time needed for Light to figure it out.

But on the other hand, if L manage to handle the extra advantage of Light. The story will also get 10 times more exciting.

but if Light was able to see L's real name, even in the college, he couldn't kill him. It would be falling into the enemy's hands, and it would immediately point out that yes, he is Kira.

came across a pici of it and thought it looked cool so i looked it up.

If Light/Raito had done the eye deal the first time Ryuk had offered, do you think the outcome of the anime/manga would have been different? How do you figure?

Eventhough he can't kill L instantly. But it still gives Light extra advantages.

It also gives Ryuzaki advantages though, right? because that just makes Light more obvious in some aspects, giving L more insight and more angles to aim for.
