Elfen Lied fc request - Page 9

Even though it's sweet the best(ish) ones are the ones you create. Be original. And I think we need only 2 more members to be official. But we need a topic: if Elfen Lied started up again, how should it begin and what would be the main story?

Beginning: Kouta opens the door and sees Lucy, minus her horns.

Plot: Lucy, Kouta, and Nana (and everyone else >.>) try and take down that whole Dicloni facility thingamabob and all that jazz.

How bout Lucy comes back but this time but she loses her memories and Nyuu has them. And they search for more diclonis throughout Japan. Plus Kouta's cousin asks some serious questions (wink, wink).

I like the searching Japan idea, but not so much the whole amnesia. Too cliche.

And what is up with Kouta and his cousin havin' feelings for each other? I know incest isn't as big a deal in Japan as it is here, but come one! >.<

I know. She gets super jelous when Kouta holds another woman. And her infatuation with him goes back to when they were little kids so you know the parents had to have done something wrong. That or she just felt emotionally unbalanced and clung to Kouta as "this is the best I can do. Period"

Ln-kun, Kouta didn't have feelings for his cousin...he comes right out and said he loved younger Lucy/Nyuu at the end.

I semi-agree with this...both Lucy/the cousin were felt that they were alone in the world (his cousin's loneliness is implied in during the flashback of Kana and Kouta's father's funeral) and both of them felt that Kouta was the ONLY person for them...

that's my theory atleast, but my medicine has worn of so, so the wording's going to be off, and I'm not going to be able to provide any evidence....I'll fix this at some point.....

I don't think the parents did anything wrong, such as abuse, but maybe their lack of noticing this one-sided(ish) crush stoked it on. <.<
But I think she was lonely and possibly emotionally unstable. Also, Kouta's sister and father being killed like that may have stirred up something in her, like sympathy, which help the feelings fester.

Well, I remember him saying something about having feelings for his cousin, but I know he had feelings for Lucy/Nyuu for sure.

Man, sorry for not posting in here, for awhile. Am I even still considered a member?

Anyhow, if they did do a season 2, after seeing Lucy/Nyu at the door. It would probably feel alot like Full Metal Panic. Or Love Hina. Won't be as serious. At least in my opinion.

But I agree with you on the "Not so serious" part. <.<

Guess I'm showing my age then again. >.<

Full Metal Panic has a military team become bodyguards for a high school girl. And the main guy from the force has no clue how to act in the crazy mixed up high school world and so mayhem ensues.
Love Hina is the same way but about a girl's dormitory and a guy that is a total clutz and it tends to get him in trouble.

I can't really see Elfen Lied taking that turn into the high school theme, but the dormitory I could kinda see, if Kouta & co. found more dicloni.

Times like this that make me wish the series just kept going. And the cliffhanger ending was murder! >.<

Geez.

And I can't watch anime with english voice actors anymore. It just kills it for me.
