I hand build all my desktops:

Intel Core2 Duo E6600
2GB OCZ Platnium Revision 2
250 + 250 GB HDD's
Soundblaster XFI Platnium
Sony 48x24x48 CDRW (needs to upgrade, but I gots a laptop that has it...)
XFX Geforce 6800

But here is what this PC looks kinda like:

I scraped the other PC for a more faster/lan party able machine. And no....that wasn't water cooling in my original post.

Processor finally arrived earlier this afternoon and i just finished setting this baby up a couple hours ago. Worked on the first try.

Processor: AMD Athlon 64 X2 6000+ Windsor 3.0GHz
Memory: 2gb x 4 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) (8gb total even though im only really getting 4gb since im running xp for the time being)
Video Card: GeForce 8800GTS KO 640MB 320-bit GDDR3
HDD: 750 GB 7200 rpm 3gb/s sata
standard mobo, liquid cooled, 2 16x PCI express slots.
20x dvdr/rw lightscribe drive.
and just a 600W power supply.

here she is all lit up with the lights out, afraid it might be a bit too bright, might buy some plain black fans to replace the stock blue LEDs,

if i do so i'll take advantage of the other two fan slots and have all 5 120mm fans installed, along with the big 200mm fan on top.

I switched my microatx to the same case Antec Nine-Hundred. That case is a beast. I did get a fancy $60 Zalman fan/power-monitor controller. Those fans get loud.

yeah, it's a beast of a case. Freezes off my boys if i put the fans on medium or high, but you better have nice speakers if you run loud. So far the processor has stayed pretty cool even with all the fans on low except i have the rear fan on medium.

i did crank them all up to test out the noise... boy oh boy sounds like it's about to take off. it's a great case though, but i wouldnt mind a bit more space between the mobo and the hdd racks so i could run the wires a bit better.

@bod- You need to up your power supply. The gigs of RAM your running along with the video card is using quite a lot I'm sure.

Wish I had the money I would get a nice upcoming Barcelona with the new Geforce 9 series of video card.

Right now I'm running
Processor: AMD Athlon X2 6000+ 3.0 GHz
Video Card: Nvidia Geforce 8600 GT (Upgrading to eVGA 8800 GT Superclocked)
RAM: 2 lousy Dell gigs.

There are others, but they need not to be mentioned. All of this though was purchased for under 1000 dollars so I'm proud of that.
