I've read the first 2 books of The Twelve Kingdoms, they're good.

The Audacity of Hope by President-Elect Barrack Obama and City of Bones by Cassandra Clare.

Re: What book are you currently reading?

I am reading a lot right now because I am righting a paper on the free-will/determinism and compatibalist/incompatibalist arguments. So I am reading:

The Significance of Free Will by Robert Kane
Elbow Room: The Varieties of Free Will Worth Wanting by Daniel Dennett
Leviathan by Thomas Hobbes (some of it)
A Treatise on Human Nature by David Hume (some of it)
Escape From Freedom by Erich Fromm
Being and Nothingness by Jean-Paul Sarte (some of it)

I know I didn't get any John Stuart Mill, but my librarian couldn't get me any of it and his arguments are cited in at least two of my books so I think I will be fine without reading any of him. My librarian also screwed me by not even getting me a real copy of A Treatise on Human Nature and instead got me this sort-of "note book" that will just give me the information.

I am also reading The Scarlet Letter for the second time because of my English class. I should really just forget about it to focus on my research, but I really love Hawthorne <3.

The Sunflower

It's about the possibilities and limits of forgiveness. Really good book and concept, I highly suggest it.
