Re: Saddams End

Personally I think that just kiling him is not good because its like hes getting off to easy, I think that he'd suffer more by doing a life time in prison and having to remember all the horrible shit he did knowing he will never be free again and that hes gonna die there.

Re: Saddams End

I don't think any punishment will actually affect the man. If you are so cold hearted to give, and carry out such orders, you will not be offended by any punishment. He might get off easy, but I'm sure he doesn't even give a damn about it anymore. He knows he's been caught and that there is no way out. Like he would actually start crying and beg for forgiveness if people rub all the things he's done in his face. Naaah. Forget that.

I think this is the best way. Why waste anymore time, money and other life-saving supplies to such a man? I'm giving this two thumbs-up!

Edit:
I'd also like to add that people who think he needs to be tortured (like the post below me) seriously need to start thinking about their choice of words and their believes towards these kind of things. If we were to torture him (life-long prison is also torturing), we would be no more than Saddam himself. And I think this strenghtens my little saying above the edit.

Re: Saddams End

I think torture would suit him well but that's supposedly inhumane. Ah well, I like the noose nonetheless.

Well, that would be inhumane, like aruko said. But I agree. The firing squad should repeatedly shoot him with blanks til he dies. >.>

I am against execution, so I say they should have let him rot in a prison. O_o

Re: Saddams End

They just need to let him in a room tied up with no food or water with the temp turned up at 120 degrees F. The Physicall + mental torture will do the job. And humain my ass, was he humain to all those people he killed?

Re: Saddams End

Just heard on the news he was hung about 15 minutes ago and is dead, I hear that they are also not going to show the tape of the hanging here in the US on TV but I'm sure it will end up on the internet soon enough.

Re: Saddams End

Well I think a quick death like that is too easy of a punishment for him. Better to have him in prison for the rest of his life. But then again, death was suitable for him because an execution means much more to the people of Iraq rather than a sentence of lifelong custody.
