Arrow Bruce Bowen = Defensive Specialist?!

BRUCE BOWEN

For those who watch the NBA at all and has seen this man play, do you really believe this guy is truly a defensive specialist or just a dirty defensive player??

Just starting thinking about it more as I saw this youtube clip

http://youtube.com/watch?v=jAakQjpFibg
^I'm like "Okay..so what was his reason doing that to Wally Szczerbiak and look how many feet he is away from the rim now?! Was that kick really 'that necessary??!"

Few other things he's done apparently.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UI5pE2-bXkE
^Can't remember but he did do that to Vince when he was still in Toronto right? Causing that injury back in 2002 or something..

http://youtube.com/watch?v=MLgHeeOZJFI
^Kicking Ray Allen
Hmm..okay...

http://youtube.com/watch?v=yGQMubkHKPE
^Recent one he did to Anthony Parker of the Raptors
Undercutting him like that..

http://youtube.com/watch?v=tdxXvkMB6gA
^Ohh Steve Francis was another victim

http://youtube.com/watch?v=BJ8ubgYYEdc
^Almost did the same thing to Jamal Crawford

Damns, some people on youtube say that he does this 'accidently'..
GEEZ beat he has a list of players he wants to injury on a nightly basis his team plays and tries to carry them out =|

So basically in my opinion he is a dirty bastard that I believe gives the refs the 'dumb look' by making it seem he didn't do it on purpose. I'm sure some feel differently however. Comments??

Re: Bruce Bowen = Defensive Specialist?!

It does not matter if he did that. If the guy can do it while the ref isn't looking then fine who cares. The NBA needs to tough up abit anyways. These days they call every little thing.

I am sorry but that title goes to Amarie Stoudemire because of this:
Amarie Block!

I am not a raptors fan, but Chris Bosh is amazing. Especally in NBA live 07. I just fake spin move and dunk it on whoever is in the key. My friend can never stop me unless he uses the clippers center (forget his name.)

Yeah I agree the NBA does need to tough up but not in this sense though. Getting under people like Bowen is doing should get him thrown out of a game cuz he keeps hurting people, and he keeps doing the same thing over and over again. I believe in physical basketball to the fullest but shit like that is just not even respectful. I'd honestly end his career if he tried that shit on me... if I could still walk after him doing that lol
