Will you ever stop reading/watching Manga/Anime?

So the other day, my mother said something that got me thinking.
Her exact words were, “When are you going to stop watching those cartoons.”
She referred to Anime as a ‘cartoon’. But that’s not the subject I want to bring up here.

What got me thinking is; Will I ever STOP reading/watching Manga/Anime?
Right now, I can’t imagine my 'life' without manga/anime, so will I be able to in the future?

What do you, fellow NL buddies, think?
(1) Will you ever STOP reading/watching manga/anime?
AND
(2) At what age do you think it’s too old to be reading/watching manga/anime?

BTW the “I can’t imagine my ‘life’ without manga/anime” is kinda pathetic, I know…

Re: Will you ever stop reading/watching Manga/Anime?

I will probably not completely stop watching/reading anime/manga... But I have been watching/reading ALOT less lately. At some point in life, time will seem to be short; and whilst in the midst of doing things, you don't seem to have as much time to watch "cartoons" anymore lol..... Though anime/manga will always be a sort of entertainment to me, and though I may not watch it all day or all night like kids do with cartoons, I'll still watch it once in a while. So no, I won't stop watching all together.

You're never too old for anime. You're never too old for Scooby-Doo, either. lol

Hey!
I agree that you're never to old...but the (1) is kinda hard to answer for me...because One day I'll have a career and maybe not have enough time for manga/anime...so for me only time will tell.

Some jobs take more work time than others.
Some may be a simple "punch-the-clock" kind of jobs; and some jobs are the "bring your work home" kind of jobs. And even then, what about household chores? What if they become parents one day and have to take care of kids and such?

What RNG said is true; sometimes having a job does not come with the privilage of free time to watch anime/manga or even post on forums.

Re: Will you ever stop reading/watching Manga/Anime?

i guess im never gonna stop. and i believe there's nothing wrong with that. anime/manga is different from cartoons/comics...they have much depth in story and in such many ways as well than c/cs...its like an interest in sports if you ask me..its not being childish. some people who doesnt watch anime/ read manga doesnt understand that so they think its pretty childish on and they think that those people who have much interest in those needs to grow up.

Anime and Cartoon is the exact same thing. Anime = Animation which is a Cartoon.

1. No.
2. There is not an age limit to watch anime and read manga. People in japan of all ages watch anime and read manga.
